Mojahedin "Huge Problem" for Iraq

Mojahedin Khalgh "huge problem" for Iraqi government

More than two dozen people have been killed and some 320 injured in a crackdown on the MEK - an Iranian opposition group sheltered by Saddam Hussein which has refused to disband. Camp Ashraf in Diyala province is understood to be the last holdout of the group, many of whom have ties to Europe or the US. Al Jazeera's Jane Arraf, reporting from Baghdad, speaks to Adrian Fineghan in our Doha newsroom.

This one is total crap Lies of Al Jazeera

by Escape on

Liars of AlJazeera
After Janes introduction of the Al Jazeera version of wikipedia on the MKO, having 'passport's' and connections to the US seems to have been the crime.
But after a minute forget that, that's not the story..Back to the Iraqi protest with scenes that don't quit fit.Not to mention at the begining they highlight the middle east but not even baghdad is in the square let alone camp ashraf..I totally question their coverage of anything in Iraq or Afghanistan..They have no credibility just like their lying brothers at the BBC..

MKO a dark part of Irans Past. This is the future we want.

by amirparvizforsecularmonarchy on

MKO should not be allowed to participate in Dialogue for future of Iran based on their unlawful terrorist actions.

Those that participated in Terrorism, in particular the entire leadership of MKO, should be brought to an international court of Law and Tried, without the possibility of death, but with the possibility of life inprisonment.

Secret, under the table support by foreign governments to the MKO should be made public and accurately accounted for.

Iranian Regime, in particular Including, anti secular and anti democratic leaders of the green movement, like Mousavi, Rafsanjani and Khatami should face the same fate.

UN should over look a free election in Iran, so the people can decide on their leaders and future system as Reza Pahlavi has requested for the last 31 years.  The future governmet should continue to provide regular, transparent elections.

Secret dealings by any Iranian group with foreign governments under the table should be out lawed and if any group is caught breaking this law, then they should be removed from the possbility of future participation in Iranian elections.

We can be open oply to secular democratic systems for Iran, whether republican, monarchy or federalist.  Media must be free and have a government agency that prosecutes journalists and soources that write fabricated mis-information.

International convention on human rights can not be violated by any government and in addition Iranians need their own bill of rights.

What Exactly

Are the long term goals of the said group?  Creating a Utopian society through the use of violence, as muslims have been doing?   :-)

They could have more useful and peaceful lives by moving to African countries and setting up real schools [not madrassas] and clinics as many Christian Westerners have been doing for the past few centuries.
