Ukrainian women activists protest against Saknieh execution

Anti-stoning protest

EuroNews: Activists from the women’s rights group ‘Femen’ banged stones against the ground in front of the Iranian embassy in Kiev to oppose the expected execution of Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani in Tehran. At euronews we believe in the intelligence of our viewers and we think that the mission of a news channel is to deliver facts without any opinion or bias, so that the viewers can make their own opinion on world events. We also think that sometimes images need no explanation or commentary, which is why we created No Comment and now No Comment TV: to show the world from a different angle:

But seriously

by Simorgh5555 on

Thank you to all the women concerned in this demonstration. I might not use the same method: I don't think anyone wants to see me run inside the Terrorist Regime's ebmassy stark bullock naked - but then again it might cause them to have a heart attack, which would be a good thing.

Well done and thank you for your courageous act and gesture of support to Sakineh and by extension to all Iranian women living under terror.

Death to the Islamic Republic.

ALLGOTTI

LOLOLOL....what the F....!

This whole thing is beyond comedic.

5 women and 8 cops!

And the rocks and screams? what the hell?

All I know is, if she gets executed, she has these chicks to thank for having it rushed for her!!

Escape

All the IRI has to do

by Escape on

Is send Bavafa,Vildemose etc to Ukraine to piss off these protestors.

Once there Mehdrad and Vildemose can ask the Ukrainians why they didn't like communist Russia, why they opposed the big govt that dictated their lives, why they wanted a freer country, why they believe in God in the Ukraine, why they support an open market etc,I'm sure they will break them...

عموجان

Where are the Iranian protesters?

by ihateiri on

It would be nice to see Iranians protesting in front of Iranian diplomatic missions again. In fact Iranians should be at the fore front of these occasions. No antar, no rahbar and no shahbar! Long live Iran!

Demo

Salute Comrade

by Demo on

Not only those but you also will be "stoned" if you ask where have all these "activists" been for the past ten years during which hundreds thousands of Iraqis & Afghanis "Sakinehs'" entire family  (who had not been accused/commited of any crimes whatsoever) were buried alive with the collapse of their "stoney," "mudy," "rocky.", & "masonary" ceilings of their homes/caves on their heads upon bombardments by the NATO military drones/planes!!!!

God bless their little beautiful freedom fighting hearts,

I wonder what “really” prompted them in the first place?

BRAVO !

PS: Not Sure however if I have to take the Euronews commentary as an endorsement or not of these young ladies gesture or as an ironic remark (ie. Negah Koneed een dokharhayeh Deevaneh roh ... LOL)
