Emptiness

Emptiness

Trusting my torn walls

I walk into a zero

Filled with hazy light.

Nothingness plays harp

Mirage ties her pretty shoes

Trick has his breakfast.

Pain’s absurdity

Licks at my latest logic

Like a soaring flame.

Truth is tormenting

I return to my bunker

Call it coward’s end.

From the depth of that

Well, under the darkness

of that night, shall roll

dowm teardrops as real

as the truth of heart,

Just to give birth

to another splendor

of this sunrise if not

That glorious smile.

I read your nihilistic poem and left a message.

Life is good :-),

Beautiful; both poem and the painting

Interestingly, I also wrote a poem which has something to do with nihilism!

Thank you for sharing.

Dear Ari

by Azadeh Azad on

My pleasure, and thank you. Please don't worry :-) My nihilistic streak comes with the belief that the only purpose in life is to live it ... fully.

Cheers,

Azadeh

Impactful, thank you.

The beautiful poem and painting narrating each other are transcendent. Although a little worrisome.
