"MKO"

I do believe the leaders of MKO have committed treason against Iran by going to Iraq, having said that, I don`t believe every member of MKO is a criminial element of that Organization. The IRI lacks Logic and consequently lacks justice therefore at any time the IRI doesn`t understand an idea or idealogy (wich happens almost all the time) the only way they know how to deal with that is to kill them at once.(one of so many teachings of Islam perhaps).

Obviously there's a serious problem with the comments addressed to Q. There were many times in the past that comments addressed to Q have been deleted.

I had addressed this issue already.

I had read that comment of Roozbeh to Q, there was nothing wrong with that. It was said in the same line of Q's comment.

What's wrong?

There's something very suspicious going on here and I am sure Q has nothing to do with that, personally.

The good behavior of the people, warms our heart and make us thankful.....  And the bad ones, just make us to recognize and appreciate the good ones!

But JJ, why my comment to Q was deleted...

In which I argued  that based on his own logic, Q should be hanged, because of his support for islamist regime,  Basij and IRCG, lebanon's hezbullah/hamas which are all branded as terrorist organisations in USA, where Q resides, according to his profile?

I was only following Q's line of logic in my response. Therefore if my comment was objectionable , then should also his comments, cynically justifying the blatent murder of yet another fellow Iranian by the islamist regime be removed.

It says on yahoo news that he went to ashraf to visit and his lost son was an MEK not him.

State Terrorism

This is another cold blooded crime by the islamofascist regime in Tehran.  Even if he was an MKO member, what did he actually do, what process did he go under to get convicted (of what)?  Being a sympathizer is not enough to constitute treason. Furthermore, mohareb is not treason.  Treason is betraying one's country, mohareb is fighting against god.  As if the almighty god needs humans to defend himself.

The minute this man got hanged, his sympathies and beliefs and possible "crimes" became irrelevant.  Because this hanging destroyed any chance for justice being done, and any truth and/or reconciliation coming out.

But the last thing this "divine" system (read bankrupt and failed form of government) is concerned about is justice and truth.

I join the civilized world in strongly condemning this barbaric act, and hold the leaders of the Islamic republic fully accountable for this crime.

Which carries the death pentalty in America as well. People convicted of treason have gotten the electric chair even without belonging to a terrorist group or even killing anyody.

One can be against capital punishment in general, but realistically I don't think most Iranians agree. I strongly suspect any poll would prove this. If murderers and rapists could be sentenced than certainly those convicted of treason could.

By the way, I'm not saying he was guilty of anything. Even if he was hanging him now after all these years raises serious questions. I just point to the MEK's own press release on an MEK site that says he was a member. //freedomessenger.com/?p=20522

Apparently if Iraq repatriate MEK members to IRI, they will probably face execution....Yahoo news say 6 people with MEK link are waiting to be executed in Iran.....Yahoo news also says  Saremi visited his son in Camp Ashraf....

very sad month......no good news......the only "good" news is that Sakineh and the Kurdish student, Latifi, are not executed yet! IRI is brutal and has no shame!

I have been generally a critic of MKO but I do not want them killed.  Therefore I like to add my voice of opposition to all death penalty. No one regardless of MKO or not should be executed.

all one needs to do is examine the style of the video: the chorus, the visuals, the parade of 1988 prisoner pictures, the vein/pathetic jumping on of the Green bandwagon that has become Rajavi's opportunistic signature. Very different than secular or nationalist presentations.

The video maker's website "freedom messenger" make it clear, by quoting NCRI that he was indeed a member. Also "Persian2English" is heavily linked, so they are probably MEK as well.

I am opposed to the capital punishment.

However even if I supported it I would not have executed him. He was either a Mossad agent or not:

• If not then there was no reason to.
• If so he is too valuable. Use him as a bargaining chip with Israel. Basically trade him for something you want.

What is happening in Iran today, all these executions, are deliberate and calculated acts of terror by a very unpopular regime hanging to it's miserable life not by any public vote or mandate, but by perpetrating acts of terror on it's own people, pure and simple. Therefore we need to condemn them all, without any reservation, for what they really are.

I have the deepest belief in freedom of speech, beliefs, gatherings and full participation of the people with all ideologies and beliefs in the management of the country. My comment about life sentence replacing the capital punishment was a general comment and a replacement for capital punishment in all cases, being trafficking, espionage, or the unfair punishment of people for their ideology in this regime. To me that also means that they will back to their families if the society find its way to the democracy one day.

This is another mess IR made:

• The charge of "Mohareb" has no place in law of humans. God will take care of that part. In hands of man it becomes a "catch-all" for anyone they want. If you want to execute someone just make a phony "mohareb" charge and a crooked judge. There you go: death penalty (as ordered). Therefore the charge really should have been "membership in MKO".
• Having CD or tapes by itself is not meaningful. But may be used as evidence that a person was indeed an MKO member. The information may be used to convict someone.
• I do agree that MKO is a terrorist organization and if someone is a member they should be prosecuted. I have also mentioned that rank-and-file should be rehabilitated if possible. Many of them are idealists who fall for the expert propaganda generated by MKO rulers. So I would not go all out on a "suspected member". I am also opposed to the death penalty.

But this is the IR we are talking about! Well of course they will go for the most barbaric approach. Plus their judiciary is so broken I am not convinced these guys were MKO. The IR could just as easily plant evidence. In a system that messed up anything is possible.

Divaneh: Mr. Saremi's alleged "crime"......

Was attending a gathering to respect thousands of Political prisoners executed in 1989 by the islamist regime. Based on that he was then accused of "supporting MKO".....

So do you think that the above alleged "crimes", even if proven in a fair and transparet court of law, not the islamist kangaroo courts, would deserve a life sentence?

Killing someone for having cds and photos

I hope these goons had the intelligence to realise that what will bring them down is not the irrelevant MEK, but these unfair killings. Put an end to the capital punishment. A life sentence may not be any better for the accused, but it will not have the same damaging effect on the society.

capital punishment is wrong

IF he was part of the MEK, then convict him and give him/them life sentences.  But since there is no due process in Iran it is hard to say what this guy was convicted of.  I do agree that the MEK are as bad if not worse than this Islamic Rapist Regime, but capital punishment is overboard.
