by Flying Solo on Tue Dec 07, 2010 04:47 PM PSTDirty Angel,
Here are two Farsi sayings:
1. Tareh beh tokhmesh mireh, hassani beh baabaash.
2. Nigah beh dast laleh kon, mesl laleh gharbileh kon.
The depth of the insecurities felt by some culturally hungry adult who would stoop as low as needed to create a carbon copy of himself in the form of a ventriloquist is astounding.

by Dirty Angel on Tue Dec 07, 2010 04:27 PM PSTI'm not necessarily assuming, as I am well aware of idiot parents. ;)
If that is indeed her in that other video, I found that pretty repulsive too. BUT, this does have a lot to do with the society these people are brought in (and no , I don't mean , at this stage the "facilitating" of child abuse of the current regime), but a strange mentality of bringing up children in a way that is alien to me and not only that, but I've thought through and is simply wrong.
What I do however think is that you most probably think on this issue like me, as I tried to point out somewhere here. Child abuse is child abuse, especially at this level, in whatever context. And it isn't difficult to justify this stance at all.

by Harpi-Eagle on Tue Dec 07, 2010 04:21 PM PSTDude, you have any idea how much your ranting sounds like the writings of Dr. Gobeles? The 1000 year Reich, the list of undesirables, blah blah blah.
It's scray, I think you're actually starting to believe your own BS. Just to refresh your memory, the 1000 year Reich only lasted 12 years (1933-1945), and those guys had technology that was 30 years ahead of all their contemporaries.

by Shutruk on Tue Dec 07, 2010 04:20 PM PSTIf you lined up a representative sample of anti-regime people you would almost certainly be embarssed to admit you were Iranian. Every time there is some anti-IRI protest staged in Europe or America you see the same ridiculous, unemployed people again and again - shouting and crying and blowing whistles...nowadays they come with their green balloons.
On Qods day marches, however, you see doctors, engineers, scholars, students, scientists, businessmen and real people with real jobs.
Sorry, but I will support velayat e faqih over zolm e kondeh any day.

by Hajminator on Tue Dec 07, 2010 04:17 PM PSTThis little girl is raised by her parents, and, they and she don't give a damn care about what people @ some 10,000 km from them think about how they should do or think!
So, save your saliva. It's no use to be oversmart!
This little girl will be what she is destinated to be. My guess is that she'll be a beautiful outspeaken woman who would be proud of her parents.

by shaayad keh on Tue Dec 07, 2010 03:57 PM PSTReading through comments below, and there were plenty of them, I cannot understand why most commenters sound like the person(s) opposing them are evil, hezbollahi or a member of a "labeled" class.
There are different opinions on all subjects and on different issues and that does not mean that the opposing person or group should totally align with the other for a healthy society to go forward.
One of our best accomplishments, learning from this clip could be that there is an opinion out there, not matching with mine, and I could respect that idea and or the person or group.
Best wishes,

by azadi5 on Tue Dec 07, 2010 03:44 PM PSTI think it will be her generation that will rid Iran of mullas, in the next 20 years. By then, all these current mullas will be dead of old age and their thugs will have eaten each other too. Given that Iran has not been destroyed in some nuclear war.

Dirty Angel,
You are assuming that everyone who is blessed with a little angel would treat her as 'amanat'.
I encourage you to watch this child's other video and listen to the 'bol bol zabooni'. You would be amazed at the 'adult' content of her speech. You'd be aghast at the way she describes a potential crime scene - if her brother dare marry.
Discussion of manipulation of this child has zilch to do with the Iranian society, government, politics or history and everything to do with the way a young mind is being poisoned and exploited.
Re: Ari and Abarmard, perfect analogy
by dingo daddy En passant on Tue Dec 07, 2010 03:06 PM PSTQ, thanks for your thoughtful note and the clip from Life is Beautiful. I'm in agreement with you on this little girl. I'm outraged at the conduct of the supposed grownups behind the camera and behind keyboards. I'm outraged at narrow minded people who just want to be petty and political when they should be thinking about the children. This is beyond politics.
Re: "Pain" of this little girl is in much later years, not now.
by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on Tue Dec 07, 2010 02:42 PM PSTOh really? I remember my daughter was away from me for 10 days. She was very upset and and in would cry all the time. Now she always knew I am not in jail and will be back. This girl has no idea if her father will be back. How can you say there is no pain?
Yes, I know: it is all show to you. But how do you know this is a show? Even if this *was* a show: how about thousands of other kids with parents in jail. What about them? I hear no sympathy for them just ridicule and mocking.
Of course if they were Palestinians it would be a different story. If the jailers were American there would be no end to the fake condemnations. Folks, be consistent. Wrong is wrong no matter who does it.
Now all of you back to your high horses. There are little kids to be beaten up and made fun of. What are you brave people waiting for.
"Pain" of this little girl is in much later years, not now.

Fake or not
by Dirty Angel on Tue Dec 07, 2010 02:28 PM PSTThank you Anonymouse for the possible awareness of a peculiar passtime called "mardom azari", however
I was always under the impression that when the defenceless and vulnerable,( and especially who are not ready yet, if ever, to make more informed judgments about the consequences of their actions,) happen to be in and are in my power and responsibility, it is my duty is to treat them as "amanat", to prepare them for their place in the world and to create a better world them.
If I meet "acting talent", I'm more likely to be tempted to aquaint it with e.g. Shakepeare and Shahnameh at al, than to incalculate , laughably in need, later anger management therapy.
Btw, some of the comments here are like those vegetarians who are vegetarians, in between meals.

All I
by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on Tue Dec 07, 2010 02:17 PM PSThave to say is that this video has exposed the nature of many on IC. There were a bunch who had up to now managed to hide their nature. Now I see them for what they are. There were others who I have gained more respect for.
The callous nature of those who ridicule this girl says more about them. People like "anonymouse" have really gone off the deep end. Denying the pain of an Iranian girl. Making fun of here and having sport with her pain.
Anyway denial of atrocities is nothing new to the IRR gang. They started with denying the holocaust; now they deny hurt of Iranians. Great job guys! Keep up exposing your real nature I needed to purge my stomach. Thanks to some of you I got a full purging all day.

I strongly oppose using children for political & religious gains
by David ET on Tue Dec 07, 2010 01:53 PM PSTThere are also videos of children crying for Islam , attending pro-regime rallies etc .... I consider it all child abuse by all sides.
Some of those who cheer this child are the same ones who oppose when a child is used for religious or political propaganda by those they oppose:

by delavar on Tue Dec 07, 2010 10:13 AM PSTMy dear, tell me something that is new. Corrupt governments are nothing new to talk about. Going into unnecessary wars are nothing new either. As for Israel, I used to be against them but now I look at the reality. I should say that Israel is a paranoid state that over reacts to terrorism and I do not blame them. Consider a tiny country surrounded by many hostile states and in addition you have the republic of Islam in Iran threatening it and reinforcing suicide bombers such as Hamas, Islamic Jihad and hezbollah. Infact the IRI spends more money on terror thatn what is being spent on their own people How could a tiny country such as Israel protect their nation rather to preempting surgical strikes and destroy terror before it afflicts pain? Tell me if the Russians do any better than the Israelies or the Americans while fighting the Chechnian terrorists? Believe me that they inflict much more horror. Even in case of the British I remember that the police followed a poor Hispanic to the subway just because then they shot at him just because he looked middle eastern . This happened just about 3 or 4 years ago. They are that paranoid. No wonder the English make a big fuss when the Islamic republic issits on having nuclear energy. Do you really believe that a n Islamic regime that rapes it's own citizens can be trusted with nuclear energy? You might say that pakistan has nukes , why not the republic of Islam? Well, tell me if Pakistan rapes it's own political prisoners? or even stones people to death?
btw, as for your previous comments regarding civilian deaths in Iraq , caused by America, I should say that civilian casualty is sad but sometimes unpreventable .
My advice to you is that youshould worry more about your country (Iran) first before worrying about the American system. At least in America they dont rape you or sone you to death if you are against the system but in the Islamic republic entity you are subject to all that and more.

by Flying Solo on Tue Dec 07, 2010 09:48 AM PSTAnonymouse,
When I saw the video the first time, I knew it reminded me of somebody in an earlier viewing. The eye movements, the way she pronounced certain words. I thought to write that 'nakoneh' this little girl is the same one who was going to kill her brother's fiance, but I thought - well - better not speculate especially because I couldn't find that video. And then after the google search it became quite apparent to me that somebody somewhere has a little girl they are using as a prop to have fun and play on the emotion of others.
Still, I think it is pretty damn poor parenting to let your kid go in front of the camera and regurgitate adult garbage. Oh well, there is no accounting for sense.

by tabriz_balasi on Tue Dec 07, 2010 09:44 AM PSTpeople that run iran today, they make you feel like vomiting, i agree. they don't represent anyone other than their greed and their lies. but that doesn't mean we should praise America for acting like a terrorist state or Israel for that matter. these two countries are the worlds biggest state sponser of terror. i am sorry, but do you read the news, do you close your eyes when they report the maimed the the murdered? i just don't understand people like you. you don't understand the meaning of being fair, and calling things how they are without involving your own hatered in the equation. we should all disccuss how to solve iran's problems, not praise a terrorist state of Israel that is killing people. let's focus on iran. the most important thing is to respect one another. the persian gulf thing i think was a blessing in disguise for iranians. it brought all of us together. very strange thing. i hope arabs keep calling it by the other name for ever and ever, because atleast iranians will have one reason to all come together.
