Press TV: The martyrdom of Ali-Reza Asgari by the Israeli regime constitutes a crime, which unveils the dimensions of a major issue, Spokesman for the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Kazem Jalali said on Wednesday. Asgari, a former deputy Defense Minister, mysteriously disappeared in Turkey in 2007. He was believed to have been abducted and transferred to Israel. Jalali revealed that recently a Zionist media outlet reported that Asgari committed suicide in an Israeli prison but immediately removed the news story from their website. He was referring to the Ynet report which stated that a prisoner had committed suicide in solitary confinement in Ayalon prison. The Euroasia Review website later claimed that a source within the “inner circle” of the Israeli defense ministry had identified the prisoner as Asgari and that his death could have been murder and not suicide >>>

How about
by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on Thu Dec 30, 2010 04:21 AM PSTThe murder of Fereydoon Farrokhzad or Shapour Bakhtiyar by IR agents?
I am not sure about the accuracy of this news. But you cannot have Jack the Ripper aka IRI complaining about murder.
If he defected then good
by Simorgh5555 on Thu Dec 30, 2010 04:07 AM PSTIf he defected then good for him. If he was killed by Israel then God Bless, Israel. This is the kind of counter-terror which should be carried against the IR. Europe and the Middle East is crawling with these dirty IR cockroaches: Abduct them and use them for barganing chips against the terrorists such as prisoner exchange or political reform . Better still eliminate these vile dirty IR scum. Whats's wrong with Mossad? Ahmadinejad, Mottaki, Larijani, Jalili can be killed instantly and their security is lapse compared to other dignitaries from aborad. Wipe out all IR terrorists with EXTREME prejudice.
liar liar pants on fire
by Ferfereh on Thu Dec 30, 2010 02:22 AM PSTIt says that this guy, Alireza Asgari, fleed to US with his family and he is one of the key persons who knows everything about the murdering of Rafic Hariri PM of Lebanon and Islamic regime want to know where he is and now they've come out with this news. They know that the end is near and because they're bunch of murderers, thieves, rapists, pedophiles(like their prophet was all of these), they know what fate waits for them (72 virgins).
Gotcha?
by Tavana on Wed Dec 29, 2010 05:43 PM PSTAny proof with such claim? Let's not to speculate & tell us what is the Octupus Spy, i.e. Shahram Amiri, doing in IRAN? On a special "New Identity Program" perhaps?

by Rashti on Wed Dec 29, 2010 01:36 PM PSTThis news announcer has such a pleasant voice...
He died? Good!!
by Onlyiran on Wed Dec 29, 2010 12:14 PM PSTAnyone who reaches that type of a rank in IRGC must have been a "somebody", meaning that he probably belonged to an execution squad back in the 80's, or killed Kurds, was a torturer, etc.
So, he died? Good. One less thug in Iran.
0% credibility of news
by afshinazad on Wed Dec 29, 2010 10:35 AM PSTSince when IRI is worried about anyone and they fabricate everything and anything that changes the subject of their crimes against humanity, there is nothing I could accept from these thugs and criminals.
Fabrication?
by Jahanshah Javid on Wed Dec 29, 2010 10:07 AM PSTI give one percent chance that this "news" is accurate. No government or organization has said anything about Asgari's whereabouts or condition.
Israel and/or the U.S. could very well be responsible for his disappearance but to make so much noise over an alleged report on the web that supposedly was later removed raises suspicions that the IRI is trying to counter outcry over Saremi and Siadat's execution.
