DK: Welcome to the side that logic/issues play no role
by Bavafa on Wed Sep 30, 2009 01:29 PM PDTAnd character assassination and accusation is the way to deal with people. Let me know if that gets you any where.

P.S. When I see my "Mullah Friends" I surely will ask them along with some other things I want to say to them. Mean while, I never claimed nor know where or who they owe it to, I just know that vast majority of people (that is Iranians who live in Iran) support the nuclear Iran.
Mohammad Reza Pahlavi and the theocracy
by American Dream on Wed Sep 30, 2009 12:25 PM PDTMohammad Reza Pahlavi died in 1980. He is dead and buried. When the theocracy took over on the 11th of February 1979 the clock did not stand still. Iran went on with its plans that it had for a subway system in Tehran and a nuclear power plant. This is all old news.
As for the theocracy, Iran can never attack Israel. It would be suicide for Iran. The Israelis are willing to nuke Iran to the stone ages.
As for Iran, they would not dare attack Israel with nuclear missles. Israel's neighbors are Iran's allies. The Gazan Hamas, West Bank's Islamic Jihad and Lebanon's Hizb'Allah. Any nuclear attack on Israel will kill off Iran's allies.
Iran will have it's nuclear plants in the future. Iranian President Ahmadinejad will be out of office in four years.
The world will go on.
Bavafa Was that A Question or Your "Bandwagon" Opinion? ;0)
by Darius Kadivar on Wed Sep 30, 2009 12:02 PM PDTSpeaking of the Band Wagon, Why don't You ask Your Mullah Friends that Question regarding their Nuclear ambitions ?.
Remind Them that whatever they have they owe it to the Eurodif Contract initiated by the asghar Kachal's Father : The Shah of IRan:

and Not their or YOUR MASTER the AYA TOILET Khomeiny ...
Only in his time no one denied Iran that Right because we did not have Territorial ambitions to wipe another member of the United Nations off the surface of the Map.

Question to DK:
by Bavafa on Wed Sep 30, 2009 11:17 AM PDTSince Asghar kachal, the bicycle repair guy in our old neighborhood, makes comment about the on going situation in Iran, should that be a reason for Charlie Rose to invite him for an interview?
I guess what I am trying to say is that RP has made himself irrelevant. This is by jumping on any wagon that he thinks could bring him to power. He has failed to understand that the power needs to be earned and not to be given.

P.S. Regarding the nuclear power, does he know what the people of Iran want? Vast majority support the current stand that Iran has regarding the nuclear issue.
Charlie Invite Reza Pahlavi For a change ...
by Darius Kadivar on Wed Sep 30, 2009 07:06 AM PDTLatest Article By Reza Pahlavi the Former Crown Prince of Iran:
Supporting the people is the best route to blocking Iran's Bomb, says Reza Pahlavi (Telegraph.co.uk)
"By supporting the Iranian people and their struggle for human rights, by elevating the importance of their liberties, the West will find its greatest ally on the nuclear issue. Empowering the opposition movement will encourage and prolong internal dissent, and sustaining that internal unrest is the key to cracking the clerical code.
While sanctions can in fact prove to be a useful tool in the shed of diplomacy, they result in the suffering of a nation's citizens, victimising the innocent many for the sins of the stubborn few. For sanctions to truly be effective in Iran, human rights have to be put on equal footing with the nuclear concern. Many of my Iranian compatriots have indicated to me that they would be willing to add to their hardships in the short term only if they believe that sanctions will curtail the lifespan of clerical oppression and cure their want of human rights."
