Bush and Ahmadinejad have one thing in common. They believe that spirit of God is guiding them into End of the World. Read Apocalypse of Ahmadinejad by Mark Hitchcock.

What does Mohammad have to do with this?

by Anonymous13 Emam & 14 Masoom (not verified) on Fri Mar 27, 2009 08:46 AM PDTOf course it has to do with Mullah and Islam. In a society that people are hanged or stoned to death in public, killing and suicide are considered as a usuall act and people are already used to it and that is the reason why they don't do anything to prevent it from happening. As they say: yakee kamtar behtar!
No Alborzi,
by ganselmi on Fri Mar 27, 2009 08:35 AM PDTNo Alborzi,
In more reasonable cities, people would contact the police and other emegency service providers. And they would attempt their best to dissuade someone about to jump. They wouldn't yell things like "baba bepar dige!" That's the height of cynicism. Haven't you heard that every suicidal gesture should be taken seriously? Let alone someone on a tower about to climb over...

people do mass suicides in Japan and no akhounds in sight.
The problem with the people egging him on, is the "Oppenheimer effect", the father of the atomic bomb, would not understand its effects on humans until it exploded in Hiroshima. People have a denial defense until they are faced with the effect and its not limited to Iranians.

So horrible.
by OmidKarimi on Fri Mar 27, 2009 06:53 AM PDTDont blame the spectators, they probably did'nt think it was a suicide attempt, obvious by their reaction. I dont think anyone can cheer for someone to take their life.

by ganselmi on Fri Mar 27, 2009 05:02 AM PDTWhy were the people below so shocked to see him jump when seconds ago they were jokingly egging him on to jump. "Bepar dig-e baba!" I heard one say.
Tragic beyond words.
