In 1981, with the start of the war between Iran and Iraq, many people were forced to leave their homes and flee to Tehran and other major Iranian cities where they found refuge in the vacant residences of those who had fled their country after the revolution. These refugees were fortunate to find shelter before these properties were confiscated by the government. This film is dedicated to all survivors of war who have shared the pain of their life stories with us. "what are you insinuating?" said Hazrate shotor.
"you know, war with Iraq, Khoramshar, Abadan, Ahvaz..." I said
"so!" said he.
"nightly bombardments, empy buildings, houses, ambulances, soldiers..." I explained.
"That's what you're talking about" he said.
"but she's wrong. Mullahs did not start that war. Saddam did". I said.
