وقتی سی و چند سال قبل مهندس بازرگان در دادگاه نظامی خطاب به شاه گفت ما آخرین نسلی هستیم که با شما با این زبان سخن می گوئیم و نوید مقاومت مسلحانه را داد، شاه نشنید تا صدای انقلاب را شنید و آن هم دیر. این بار هم ملت ایران در عین مسالمت اندیشی و صلح جوئی به علت ضعف اراده و سستی کسانی که خود را بالا کشیدند بی آن که قابلش باشند به همان موقعیت دچار شد.
