It is the alchemical Phoenix after all swallowing the tail of the Ouroboros. This represents the endless, spiralling cycle of death and rebirth. You indeed have the Masonic ruler and compass, which by itself represents the process of the Great Work. The angles of the triangles are completed forming into a hexagram which represents the polar energies (positive/negative, male/female, light/dark, etc.). Then you have five of the seven planetary sigils within the spatial angles of the triangles itself forming the hexagram with the sigils of Mars (left) and Venus (right) outside of the hexagram. Mars = male & Venus = female. Interesting they are placed on the opposite sides of where they are traditionally placed because this is a scheme I follow myself in disagreement with Kabbalists who place the feminine on the left and the masculine on the right. In the center we have the Rosa Negra (the Black Rose), the rose of 49 petals, representing the Elixir of Immortality.

This whole sigil is about the completed aspect of the Great Work according to a Masonic-Rosicrucian scheme.

What's that new avatar you have? It looks like a page from the sort of things I read: a Phoenix (or is it a Dragon?) swallowing the tail of an Ouroboros who is swallowing the tail of the Phoenix (Dragon)? Then you have the compass and ruler (with a few other elements I can't make out) forming a hexagram with some kind of sphere in the center. This is Masonic symbolism. Where did you get it and do you know its meaning?
