Trust always your imagination. world would be a better place if everybody let their imagination create a new page in Love book.

Take care.

Softly it nudges my imagination to bygone, forbidden kisses, to the love that wasn’t meant to be…

Etreintes brisées

by Orang Gholikhani on

Souri Jan,

Happy you have felt the atmosphere, may be because you have been living in Paris several years. Last night was hot and short. Daylight is there till 10 pm.

Azarine Jan,

Happy you share the same taste for simple way of telling things. Hope one day, we could discuss about it in person.

Ali Jan,

Happy you liked it. As always you are kind. It is not about your  “Savad” :-) it is about things I don’t tell.

Because it is you, I’ll tell you all details.I’m a fan of Pedro Almodovar Spanish film director and last night I went to see his last film which is competing in Cannes Festival. Films could go to Theater in Paris as soon as they are presented to Jury. The title of his last movie is “Etreintes brisées” in French and Los abrazos rotos in Spanish. You could translate it Broken Hug or Broken Kiss. I translated it as Booseh Shekasteh. //french.imdb.com/title/tt0913425/combined

//www.cinemovies.fr/bande-annonce-17446-28518.html

It is a thriller and you understand about title at the end. So you should see the movie to better understand this poem as soon as it is available in US. By the way, you can like a poem without understanding all strory.

Coming back to the movie and Almodovar, it is not his greatest movie. If you are interested, I recommend you “All about my Mother” and “Talk to her”.

Beesavaad haa want to know

by Ali P. on

I liked it too, but I didn't understand the meaning of "booseh eh shekasteh".

It has been so long, I don't even remember last time I got, or gave, a complete one, a juicy one or a French one, let alone a broken one :-(

Anyway. Experts of the field: Explain please.

Yours,

Ali P.

Dear Orang,

What I love in your poems is that you just reveal so much with so little..always "show" and "never tell"...Great little poem! Great ending that left me with a sigh!
