Soori Jan, why not French? !

by Orang Gholikhani on

I realy don't know, I don't do poetrie in French. They come to me in Farsi only ! it is may be a blood question ! or French is a business day to day language for me and when I make a poem, I want go as far as possible from real world.

But if some day, I've enough time to finish my roman, it would be in French.

Currently I had a doubt and I checked in Farhang Omid before publishing. There was Soufist with SEEN but not Soufi after your remark  I checked in Sat and there is a Soufi with Sat. I think SAT should be more accurate but I prefer SEEN because It is more persian :-)

It is a beautiful song by a beautiful singer.

I like also this one from IndoChine band:  //www.youtube.com/watch?v=6_vYYb7S6qI

I'd love if some day somebody like Namjoo, Kiosk or Abjees make a song with one of my poem ! Do you sing? :-)

Rest assure that I always like everything you write. There's something " tornado-ish" in your poems that I like a lot.

The reason that I don't comment your writing always, is just because I feel
somehow shy !! Maybe because I know you personally....Actually I don't know
the real reason, but I know I am some how embarrassed :O)

Also, I am a  confirmed " Molla Loghati"  in this site, however I didn't dare
to tell you to correct the word " Soufian" with a "sat" in Persian .

See, I say it now :O)

I know you master French better than Persian and English, for sure. I
haven't yet had the chance to read your poems in French. I'm sure they
are fabulous.

Song to the moon

by Azarin Sadegh on

Lovely poem!

One of my favorite pieces of music is Dvorak's song to the moon, (song by Anna Netrebko):

It goes so well with the melancholy of your poetry.

Such a beautiful translation. Thanks a lot Azadeh Jan.

JJ, you was the first one who beleived that my words could intrest others and I owe you a lot till I'm breathing.

Souri Jan, happy you liked this one. Feedbacks always help me to recognize which one of my poem are apreciated. It is like when your kid come back home with an "A".

The Moon Crescent

by Orang Gholikhani

I sit on the moon crescent

Like wandering dust and mist

With all the light that’s baffled this world

I stare into people’s sins and slyness

I sit on the moon crescent

When people's rights are crossed

A cloud crosses out this concept

Is disgrace a sin at this time?

I sit on the moon crescent

In the passage of the birds

In the breeze I suffer from this fancy

This wound screams out at the sky

I sit on the moon crescent

Seeking the city of stars

Grew old and didn’t see stars

Got used to the city light with time

I sit on the moon crescent

Lovers’ hearts play music

I’m a lover, lover of this world

I follow Sufis on the moon.
