Snow Again

Yesterday, Tuesday October 28, 2008, the first autumnal snow fell upon Ottawa.  Everywhere turned slushy and white.  It reminded me of a snowy winter day few years ago when this verse came to my consciousness:

Ceiling of sky, in this winter day, stands low again.

From that ceiling, onto the ground, falls snow again.

With every flake, memories of yours, come and go again.

With each memory, my tears and sorrows, soon follow again.

Your fragrances, on gentle breeze, if blow again;

In the heart's field, every flower, I'll grow again.

Images of yours, upon these poems, if snow again;

A book of poems, in this literature, will glow again.
