Stop this blind following of 'scriptural Puritanism' encouraging Zionist mindset to act exactly as 'Talibans.' Israel responds to UN vote by approving 3,000 new settlement units and plans to build in strategic West Bank corridor!! After this 90% of the World voted for a Palestinian state under President Abbas, how is it fair to make a declaration of 3000 new houses in the West Bank? United Nations endorsed a two-state outcome. Israel in its settlement decision last night in the E-1 corridor, endorsed a one-state outcome.
President Obama and Israel's American sponsors need to ask whether this one track Israeli mind is ''democratic'' or "apartheid" in its direction.
90% of the World voted for a Palestinian state under President Abbas. Out of 7.15 billion total global population:
1.357,000,000 said 'no' led by Obama administration.
2.358,000,000 'abstained' led by European Union.
3.6,000,000,000 for a 'Palestinian statehood and a peaceful coexistence.' i.e. 90%
If 'peace' is not given a chance now, will not the radicals claim that peace is an 'illusion' will only enhance? This is a colossal blunder, Obama administration blinked as he refused to apply the enormous influence at his disposal to maintain the 'freeze.' Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu dealings and conduct with Hamas is one thing; but to run down the West Bank and secular minded government led by likes of Abbas and Hanna Ashrawi is a strategic blunder. Obama should let Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu know that 'global democracy of planet earth ' demands acceptance of new realities. Give them a homeland. Freeze these illegal settlements now.
My open letter to Mr. Netanyahu:
''I don't think you will remember, but you were not the PM and I met you in the executive lounge of Grosvenor House Hotel in the late 90's . Your wife walked in her name was Sara, with all your security, I was with my boss from Kuwait he had not emerged from his suite, I was elated to see you after all, you were face of Israel on CNN when first Gulf war happened, you helped liberate Kuwait from a totalitarian Saddam Hussein.
I told you Mr Netanyahu, peace is the way forward, I thanked you what you did for Kuwait but requested you to be kind to Palestinians. Last night UN resolution implementation where a two state solution is a possibility for way out, don't throw President Abbas as a food for hungry vultures in Gaza. Instead of announcing 3000 new buildings, allow the Palestinians to live in their 'chickenpoxed territory,' don't play with ' foolishness of scriptural' authenticity.
Finish this war of dogma, grow up, remember Grosvenor House executive floor, the way forward is peace, love and cohabitation. Hamas no, but Abbas yes, Sir. This is the deal 6.1 billion people on earth has offered you, don't kill it, for sake of Israel and for sake of humanity. Yes 'Samson option exists,' but think big these scriptural myths will only lead to ultimate catastrophe. (''The Samson Option is Israel's alleged deterrence strategy of massive retaliation with nuclear weapons as a "last resort" against nations whose military attacks threaten its existence, and possibly against other targets as well.'') ''
Every megalomaniac within the Islamic world has hijacked Palestinian cause, this is the first time those 'hijackers of causes' like OBL can be stripped of any legality. Their idea 'that world is against Islam' and the Palestinian freedom cause is a 'global Jihad' is bankrupt now. The whole slogan is now pathetically devoid of any legitimacy. Nearly 6.1 billion people have supported the right of Palestinians, the world should not be punished any more with this imposed guilt of purported Islamic persecution. Buddhists, non-believers, Islamicsts, moderates, atheists all have said 'yes' to the statehood.
The General Assembly's decision to accept Palestine as a non-member may encourage new International Criminal Court prosecutor to open cases against Israelis and Palestinians for war crimes. The General Assembly's resolution unambiguously define Palestine's boundaries as the 1967 borders, Palestinians can legally maintain that every settlement that was built in sovereign Palestinian land is unlawful.
Morally on this planet Earth majority of the world population wants peaceful coexistence between the two neighbours, that is what this vote implies. It has legal ramifications for the Hamas, for Israel and for Palestine, it evokes accountability of war crimes under a universal court. The Geneva Convention's forbids "the transfer of civilian population of the occupying power to the occupied territory" and defines this as a war crime. So illegal transfers of populations to occupied territories can lead to prosecution of Israeli leadership guilty of expanding and growing settlements. So does Hamas and those Palestinians bent on terror will have to face, a new kind of music from the 'Justice from International Criminal Court.'
The world has spoken in unanimity for peace and security of Palestine and Israel's 'Muslim and Jewish inhabitants.' The warring factions amongst the Palestinians should realise that this issues has put the whole global peace at risk. They should now look and reset their priorities. International Criminal Court in April 2012, had rejected a Palestinian demand to examine Israel alleged war crimes during its Gaza action in 2009. The International Criminal Court said that only a state could request the court to intervene as Palestine was a UN "observer" not a "non-member observer state." Now International Criminal Court door is open. Instead of risking being treated as a war criminals, the 'rogue as well as democratic leadership' of the region can come to senses, the time and geography can be reshaped; to start a new beginning and a journey of hope.

A note on your earlier posts... When it comes to the Bible
by Soosan Khanoom on Mon Dec 03, 2012 09:19 AM PSTthe fact is that the original copy is gone! There are several copies of it now .... many different versions. The book, sadly, has turned to a wikipedia that anyone can go online and add something to it only for someone else to come and removes it. Of course, i am comparing it to that but that is not too far from which that exactly happened to the Bible over the centuries.
Now , to do what Israelis did over a book that also suggests the earth is flat is really amazing!
How can you trust the words of a book that has been manipulated throughout the years?
How do you know which verses are original and which are just imagination?
Besides what type of God is this God who even gives permission for these authorities?
Furthermore, the real Semite lived in that region forever.. , they blended into the society ... some converted to the Christianity and some converted to islam and some remained Jews.. all as a collective nation called Palestine .. Ashkenazi Jews are primarily Khazar or European and not Semitic in origin..
Why blame a God ( fictional or real ) , a prophet ( fictional or real) , based on the remains of a book with no copyrights for the crime of 21 first century!
Perhaps you can change your signature to this :
F""" the united nations cause Israel says so !

interesting comment dear
by Soosan Khanoom on Mon Dec 03, 2012 09:03 AM PSTinteresting comment dear Iqbal , another important era in the history in which they (the jews) lived in peace and prospect with great achievements was the " Golden Era"
Did you know that the term " Golden " was given to that " Era" by the Jewish people living then?
The history says something else, their is no need of hate:
by Iqbal Latif on Mon Dec 03, 2012 07:37 AM PSTI hope you must have read this, I talk sense from the pages of history :
In 586 BCE King Nebuchadnezzar II of Babylon conquered Judah. The Babylonian subjugation entailed not just the obliteration of Jerusalem and its Temple, but the destruction of the absolute infrastructure which had helped Judah for centuries. The most important victim was the State philosophy of "Zion theology," the thought that Yahweh, God of Israel, had chosen Jerusalem for his dwelling-place and that the Davidic dynasty would reign there forever. The deportation and exile of the Jews of the ancient Kingdom of Judah to Babylon and the destruction of Jerusalem and Solomon's temple followed.
It was not until 538 BCE, only after Cyrus the Great of Persia conquered Babylon and took over its empire, that Cyrus the great issued a proclamation granting subjugated nations their freedom. Jewish exiles in Babylon, including 50,000 Judeans, led by Zerubabel returned to Judah to rebuild the temple, a task which they are said to have completed c. 515. Judah remained a province of the Persian empire until 332 BCE. According to the biblical history, A second group of 5,000, led by Ezra and Nehemiah, returned to Judah in 456 BCE although non-Jews wrote to Cyrus to try to prevent their return. Yet it was almost certainly only in the middle of the next century, at the earliest, that Jerusalem again became the capital of Judah. The Persians may have tried out originally with ruling Judah as a Dividic client-kingdom under ancestors of Jehoiachin, but by the mid–5th century BCE Judah had become in practice a theocracy, ruled by hereditary High Priests and a Persian-appointed governor, frequently Jewish, charged with keeping order and seeing that tribute was paid.
Israelites should love Iranians, they have a long history of co-existence and help. I can relate here history of banu- Israel for last 1450 years and can vouch that Jews had their best deals from Omar bin Khattab, Salahuddin Ayubi, Selim 2, Salman the Magnificent. There is no reason for this hatred amongst people, Holocaust was not conducted by Middle Easterners and neither any of these nations were crusaders. The people of the two faith should go beyond the bigotry of their present religious and political leaderships and connect. There has been more occasions of love than hatred between the two nations.
The only era of peace Israelites have seen has been either under the Persians or much later after 638 CE, when the Byzantine Empire lost the Levant to the Arab Islamic Empire. In 332 BCE the Persians were defeated by Alexander the Great. After his death in 322 BCE, his generals divided the territory between them and Judea became the border between the Seleucid Empire and Ptolemaic Egypt, but in 198 Judea was included into the Seleucid Kingdom. In 64 BCE the Roman general Pompey occupied Judea and Jerusalem and made the Jewish kingdom a client of Rome. In 131, Emperor Hadrian renamed Jerusalem Aelia Capitolina and constructed a Temple of Jupiter on the site of the former Jewish temple. Jews were banned from Jerusalem and Iudaea Province was renamed Palaestina, from which derived "Palestine" in English and "Filistin" in Arabic.
Continued persecution and the economic crisis that affected the Roman empire in the 3rd-century led to further Jewish migration from Palestine to the more tolerant Persian Sassanid Empire, where a prosperous Jewish community existed in the area of Babylon. Early in the 4th century, Roman Empire split and Constantinople became the capital of the East Roman Empire known as the Byzantine Empire. Under the Byzantines, Christianity, dominated by the (Greek) Orthodox Church, was adopted as the official religion. Jerusalem became a Christian city and Jews were still banned from living there.
After 638 CE, the Byzantine Empire lost the Levant to the Arab Islamic Empire. Omar allowed and encouraged Jews to settle in Jerusalem. It was first time, after almost 500 years of oppressive Christian rule, that Jews were allowed to cross the threshold and worship liberally in their holy city. Until the Crusades took Palestine in 1099, various Muslim dynasties controlled Palestine. It was first ruled by the Medinah-based Rashidun Caliphs, then by the Damascus-based Umayyad Caliphate and after by the Baghdad-based Abbasid Caliphs.
According to Gilbert, from 1099 to 1291 the Christian Crusaders "mercilessly persecuted and slaughtered the Jews of Palestine." Assistance came in 1187 when Ayyubid Sultan Saladin overwhelmed the Crusaders in the Battle of Hattin, taking Jerusalem and most of Palestine. In time, Saladin issued a decree appealing all Jews to return and settle in Jerusalem, and according to Judah al-Harizi, they did: "From the day the Arabs took Jerusalem, the Israelites inhabited it." al-Harizi compared Saladins decree allowing Jews to reinstate themselves in Jerusalem to the one issued by the Persian Cyrus the Great over 1,600 years earlier.
After Mamluks and Fatimids, Palestine was conquered by Turkish Sultan Selim II in 1516–17, and became part of the province of Syria for the next four centuries. In around 1563, Joseph Nasi secured permission from Sultan Selim II to acquire Tiberias and seven surrounding villages to create a Jewish city-state. In around 1560, Suleiman the Magnificent gave official recognition of the right of Jews to pray there.
Why should Khamenei and President Ahmadinejad speak something that even the greatest 'warriors of Islam' did not want. Why this hate, where does it originates from, the Artabised version of Shiite mentality should not warrant destruction of a 'nation' that has its own cultural inclinations and bearings for 5000 years old. To speak and predict the ultimate demise of the "Zionist state" is utter non sense and invitation to self annihilation. Most of these oft repeated statements are fundamentally a reiteration of statements made in the past by the leader of Iran's revolution, Ayatollah Khomeini. In its destructive capability with its undeclared Nuclear assets, Israel is million time more in position to exterminate than Iran ever shall be in near future, why to invite the wrath of a nuclear war in the region by these silly statements. Whose idea is this and what purpose do they serve?
Not short of words these statements from Vilayat-e-Fikah and their mouthpiece are adequately countered by Israeli officials with corresponding ferociousness, a June 7, 2008, remark by Israel's Infrastructure Minister Benjamin Ben-Eliezer: “If you so much as dream of attacking Israel, before you even finish dreaming there won't be an Iran anymore.”
Don't piss on the writ of 6.1 billion people of 'planet earth!'
by Iqbal Latif on Sat Dec 01, 2012 09:57 AM PSTWhat is this democracy? What is this secularism? and What is this liberalism? When the writ of 6.1 billion people of 'planet earth' in an clear effort to display the spectacle of arrogance of might and a 'Samson option' is bulldozed to nothingness in no time.
Science, Logic, Pluralism and more science does not support politicalisation of worldly disputes based on hearsay and thousands of year biblical scriptural legends and myths.
This pissi- behaviour when even the ink on the resolution that was passed by UN had not dried, is as illogical as that of a Talibnised mindset.
To deny 5.5 m people 'basic land' on which they have traditionally lived by inciting a book written by 'Gods' is not what is accepted by Science and Logic.
The basis on which I fight the tyranny of OBL, Ahmadinejad and Hammas and Hezb or Iranian Ayatollahs, I see no difference in the intransigence of the present leadership of Israel in denial of the rights of what are the views of 6.1 billion people of the world.
We people of the world 90% of us wants both of you to stop killing each other, stop making live of the whole world miserable, grow up and be tolerant, where is your authorship of liberal values now. Support the vote of 90%. Give them the rights. 9/11 , 7/7 do not appear in vacuum, those criminals had hijacked apparent inequities, don't provide them one now. Listen to the people of this only 'sentient planet' in our Universe.
Don't piss on the writ of 6.1 billion people of 'planet earth!'
''Taliban /Ahemdinejad bad, BIBI good''
by Iqbal Latif on Sat Dec 01, 2012 09:22 AM PST''Taliban /Ahemdinejad bad, BIBI good'' does not fly with the 'rational man' anymore!
F*** the United Nations !!! Since biblical prophecies say so!
F*** the United Nations !!! Since biblical prophecies say so!
by Iqbal Latif on Sat Dec 01, 2012 09:17 AM PSTScriptural myths and legends are abhorred by all rational man , the only exclusion from this abhorrence are the 'biblical prophecies of return. '
These biblical prophecies cannot become the basis of today's geography and political cohabitation. Like rapture and Ahmadinejad preoccupation with Mahdaviat these will only multiply 'Chaos.' The world cannot be run on injunctions of bygone scriptures. That is what Taliban try to do and exactly the Iranian clergy is bent on. We oppose both but we cannot be expected to be quite about this scriptural Puritanism, what is not good for political Islam is not good for Jews too. World cannot pursue double standards , liberal of the world look the other way when thoughtless arguments about biblical sources are used as legal mandates.
A progressive, secular minded Jewish community has to live up to its credentials of secularism and coexistence and stop this nefarious design to apply scriptural license to modern day disputes.
Jewish presence in Judea and Samaria, which the world calls "the West Bank," is at the heart of Jewish demands of the return to the ancient biblical heartland is the basis of Judaism. According to the Bible, before the united monarchy, the Israelite tribes lived as a confederation under ad hoc charismatic leaders called Judges. In around 1020 BCE, under extreme threat from foreign peoples, the tribes united to form the first united Kingdom of Israel. Samuel anointed Saul from the tribe of Benjamin as the first king c. 1026 BCE, but it was David who in c. 1009–1000 BCE created a strong unified Israelite monarchy. The aim of the rleigous right is to rebuild the 'Lost kingdom of Israel.'
Israel believes that that this is their legal right to settle Jews in the Biblical areas of Judea and Samaria, the UN resolutions ignore thoroughly biblically and scripturally documented Jewish roots in the Land of Israel, and in Judea/Samaria in particular. Therefore this 'scripturally licensed mythical war' shall continue. Bibi looks like a peace Dove when you hear this one.
We'll Double Jewish Presence in Judea, Samaria. National Union chairman MK Yaakov “Ketzaleh” Katz said in the Knesset on Monday that the big news in the upcoming elections is that Israel’s largest party be a joint National Union- Jewish Home list. “The goal is to double the number of Jews in Judea and Samaria and to stop the freeze that Netanyahu has implemented and still implements in Jerusalem,” said Katz and added that the joint list will work “to prevent the realization of two states by Netanyahu, to prevent the sawing and demolition of Jewish homes by Netanyahu to ease the load on the shoulders of parents with regard to financing religious education for their children.”
Judea and Samaria is the heart of the biblical land, that Israel by virtue of scriptural book will try to hold, the main Israel of today is not the biblical return places, it is unfortunately the West Bank and Gaza.
F*** the United Nations !!! Since biblical prophecies say so!

by Soosan Khanoom on Sat Dec 01, 2012 07:32 AM PSTJERUSALEM (Reuters) - Israel plans to build thousands of new homes for its settlers in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem, an Israeli official said on Friday, defying a U.N. vote that implicitly recognized Palestinian statehood there.....
....Israeli media said the government saw the settlement expansion as hammering home its rejection of Thursday's upgrade by the U.N. General Assembly of the Palestinians to "non-member observer state" from "entity".
