I totally relate to your writing. I believe that life is, not only existentially but also scientifically, an illusion. Just think of the fact that at the sub-atomic level, the world is nothing but energy (in the middle of an ocean of emptiness), sometimes taking specific shapes that lead to its appearing as matter, mostly solid matter. Yet, there is no solidity and no matter! And most of the Universe is made of emptiness.

I enjoyed reading your poem. In moments of despair, I could even relate to it more closely. 

Life could be defined by its starting or ending point, or it could be defined by the journey that takes place in between these two points and what we do during that time.

Whatever we do, eventually we will die, but we still have to face the fact that while we are alive, in the arena of mind and soul, we have wonderful choices we could make that could take us to even more wonderful places. Being able to see those wonders makes life bearable.

I am  abit of depressed soul! Just disappointed with what we have become as human beings... and how our values have changed to weird stuff ..... very depressing!

Nice and beautiful poem. A little moment of desperation, but we all have known of these moments once in a while...

Your poem along with the avatar of the Phantom of the Opera, reminded me of a movie I'd seen long time ago, with Tom Cruise and Penelope Cruz.
