Replicating the prison conditions of the 7 Baha'i Leaders
May 14th, 2010 marks two years since the initialincarceration of 7 members of the Bahai community in Iran: Mrs. FaribaKamalabadi, Mr. Jamaloddin Khanjani, Mr. Afif Naeimi, Mr. Saeid Rezaie,Mrs. Mahvash Sabet (arrested two months earlier), Mr. BehrouzTavakkoli, and Mr. Vahid Tizfahm.
These two women and five menformed the national leadership of the Bahai community in Iran known asyaran or friends. They remain in Evin prison to this day withoutsentence, having spent significant periods of imprisonment in solitaryconfinement.
This campaign aimed to replicate the prisonconditions the 7 Baha'i leaders face to this day. Read more about thecampaign here: //bit.ly/ayW53d
