Words into Action

John F. Kennedy’s vision put mankind on the moon and he was also a strong advocate for freedom and democracy, as evident in his famous "Ich bin ein Berliner" speech. Martin Luther King’s dream heralded the Civil Rights Acts. Mahatma Gandhi’s steadfastness and peaceful philosophy paved the road to freedom for countless number of people. It is quite possible that these great thinkers were assassinated for their ideas and ideals. But at least they were able to freely express themselves before dying.
Sadly, in other societies, too many people have also been killed for their beliefs, but have never been given a chance to freely express themselves first.
The rest of us are obligated to speak up for the voiceless and implement noble ideas for betterment of humanity.
