As far as I know neither Zia Atabai nor His partner/wife (with whom I am familiar with) are bonafide members of any Bahai community.

They launched the first Iranian Satellite program in LA coinciding with the Live programme and Inaugration of the Bahai Terraces in Haifa, which they graciously broadcast all over the globe.

But later it became evident, that they perhaps did this in expectation and anticipation of financial suppprt by the Bahai community. The suppprt was never promised, nor given much to Mrs Atabai's anger and public/on air  statements to that effect.

Zia Ataba'is partner on NITV was Manook Khodabakhshian, who is not a Baha'i. He is Armenian so, if anything, he is either a Christian or not religious.

Is a know-nothing idiot who obviously comes with a price-tag that you Baha'is have met. He's not a world renowned anything, since outside of the North American Tehrangeles culture of 30 year exiled has-beens, a sizeable population of which includes you guys, he is a nobody. World renowned are people like Christian Amanpour or even Reza Aslan. Obviously Maybodi does not even rank a distant last among either one of these names. But keep doing what you bahaim do best, paying other people to toot your horns for you.
Look, he's point blank admitting it himself in the clips. A little wining and dining of the man, and he's ready to panegyrize just about anyone.

every bahai I have known has been nice and accomodating.

It's all pretense. But if it's all the same to you, Jehovah's Witnesses and Scientologists are also nice. But do you mind elaborating on what you mean by "accomodating?"
