A Fictional Tale about the Human Story of a Shot down Stealth Drone over Iran!

Sepah Commander, Salami had just concluded his press conference by stating that “the stealth drone’s intrusion into the Iranian air space was a hostile act and there will not be a deal to release the captured drone.”

At a Lockheed facility in the US, the two scientists responsible for the creation of the stealth drone, RQ-170 Sentinel were having a news conference.

“My name is Dr. Patricia O’Neal. I am one of the designers of RQ-170. I am also considered his mom!”

“I am Doctor Qiumars Razavi (formerly of NASA). I am the other designer and like my colleague Pat, I am regarded as RQ’s dad!”

“Have you been able to ascertain that it is really him? What is his name sir? Can you tell us about his childhood and upbringing doctor?  What was he doing in Iran? Is he a spy?” The reporters kept shouting questions.

“His name is Robert Qiumars Sentinel, but his father and I just call him RQ. He is a good boy. He was very shy as a child and always wanted to evade other kids so we made him out of stealth material. When he was playing hide-and-seek with the other drones, nobody could find him for hours!” His mother said with tears in her eyes.

Dr. Razavi got close to the microphones. “I am an Iranian-American from Mashad in Khorasan Province. RQ was always interested in Iran even when he was very little. I remember at nights when I wanted to shut down his computer and put him to sleep, he would always ask me to tell him about my childhood in Mashad and the summer trips that I took with my family to Torghabeh, Kashmar or Neishabour. He would look at me with those big, ultrasensitive cameras and I could tell that he was daydreaming about some day going to Iran. He is like a fish swimming upstream to go to where his roots are!”

“Our son is not a spy. He is a good boy. Please be kind to him. He is not like the other drones. I remember when the other drones wanted Texaco jet fuel or fancy batteries for Christmas, RQ just wanted some kerosene from the Persian Gulf or an old 9V Ray-O-Vac pocket battery. He would get sick from the kerosene and would need an emergency maintenance, but he didn’t mind. Deep down he was Iranian like his father and always wanted to go and visit Iran.”

At a secret warehouse near Ghom, RQ was sitting on the floor in solitary confinement. His jailer put a confession in front of him and said, “If you want us to go easy on you, you better sign this confession and admit that you were spying on us. We might then be able to work out a deal with King Ghaboos of Oman and release you on humanitarian grounds after he puts up the $500,000 bail. I can see that your wires are all messed up and your landing gear is also damaged. You need some technical attention soon.”

In a much-anticipated news conference on Press TV, RQ confessed to spying for the US and asked for leniency and Islamic mercy as he read a statement through his audio device. “I abhor the conduct of my government in Iran and the rest of the Muslim world. Iranian people are the true friends of American drones; it is the American foreign policy that Iranians despise. I also object to the occupation of the holy lands in Palestine. We drones believe that the sanctions hurt the ordinary Iranians and should cease immediately. The only path forward is through negotiations between the Islamic Republic and the US government and the recognition of IR’s nuclear rights.”

Earlier today, the Swiss ambassador to Tehran relayed a message to Washington that RQ could be freed by the end of Moharram in early January if King Ghaboos of Oman puts up the bail and certain other conditions are met.

oon yaroo, i wonder how you came up with the niac analogy?  if it was casmii, do you think that rq would denounce u.s. on their treatment of race cars in indy 500?

Glad you liked the story.

Too many explosions are happening over there. They must be playing with the fire and the matches too much!

They could've sent him to the Ghadir Steel Plant in Yazd, for example. In which case, he would've ended up really messed up.

PS. nice story, Faramarz.

This was a spy drone. No doubts about it.

This is a similar story as the CIA U2 spy plane flying over the Soviet Union and getting shot down and the trial of the pilot Gary Powers.

What is amusing is that many Iranians seem to be surprised at the revelation.

In my opinion, the US government and the IR Regime have been engaged in a cold war (and a proxy war) since the takeover of the US embassy in Tehran. This is just par for the course.

Joe Montana once said ...

by Esfand Aashena on

Joe Montana the QB, not to be confused with Tony Monata of Scarface!

When you say it's business they say it is not, when you say it is not business they say it is!

Reference to leaving 49ers when management was telling him stay for the glory and we'll get you a good rookie QB for the future and when he signed with KC, the reporters said he did it for the money!

So Faramarz jaan this whole spy story in Iran has become like the lying shepard and the wolf!  Crying wolf!

When Iran said the hikers were spies, i.com's self-righteous pretentious crowd were saying they are not and when US Officials RQ (was D2 his evil twin?!) this is their spy, i.com crowd says it is NOT!

Next we'll have to deal with the "confessions"!

Everything is sacred
