Hagee endorsed McCain yesterday. The Democratic National Committee has released the following round-up of Hagee's statements:

Hagee on Hurricane Katrina "All hurricanes are acts of God because God controls the heavens. I believe that New Orleans had a level of sin that was offensive to God and they were recipients of the judgment of God for that." [NPR Fresh Air, 9/18/06]


Hagee on Islamic Beliefs
Fresh Air host Terry Gross asked if Hagee believed that "all Muslims have a mandate to kill Christians and Jews," to which Hagee replied, "Well, the Quran teaches that. Yes, it teaches that very clearly." [NPR Fresh Air, 9/18/06]

Hagee on African-Americans
The San Antonio Express-News reported that Hagee was going to "meet with black religious leaders privately at an unspecified future date to discuss comments he made in his newsletter about a 'slave sale,' an East Side minister said Wednesday." The Express-News reported:

"Hagee, pastor of the 16,000-member Cornerstone Church, last week had announced a 'slave sale' to raise funds for high school seniors in his church bulletin, 'The Cluster.'

"The item was introduced with the sentence 'Slavery in America is returning to Cornerstone" and ended with "Make plans to come and go home with a slave." [San Antonio Express-News 3/7/96]

Hagee on Catholicism

So I believe that the judgment of God is a very real thing. I know that there are people who demur from that, but I believe that the Bible teaches that when you violate the law of God, that God brings punishment sometimes before the day of judgment." Hagee on Iran

The media spins lies against America

I have watched Hagee from time to time and can't see what all the fuss is over. He is a Christian teacher and interprets scriptures and discusses what he thinks. He has a good sense of humor too and uses it when he first starts a sermon and sometimes throughout. Sometimes he is a little loud and edgy. He isn't afraid to shed light on more controversial issues and as a Christian who believes the bible is the inerrant word of God, defends Israel. Preachers of his caliber have no true power in the country accept what God gives them. They are not like some evil politicians. Not even all Christians will like Hagee's style but he is no Amahdinejab. And a reminder, we still have free speech in this country. Unless, the evil media and those controlling it keeps spinning the lies that keeps people apart from one another, hating one another, afraid of one another because the media is the great Satan. Instead of thinking inside the box you have lived in so long, step outside in your own mind and seek the truth of God. A God who loves us, is powerful and gave his son to atone for our sinful natures. That is the real truth and all the politicians, media spin and hatred used to keep people untrusting and seperated is the same manipulation that keeps us seperated from God. We may have different cultures and believe in different doctrine so that makes it very hard to understand each other. But God knows the heart of all people. Was it not He who created the Universe and all who is in it? Your anger should not be with Hagee. Listen carefully without casting immediate judgement and if you question someone, go to God and ask him to help you understand if what a person is doing or saying is right or true.

You are surprized that he endorse McCain ?! I would be surprized if he had endoresed Obama !! ;-) Is McCain accept, you know what you have to do.

By the way, his name Hagee. I don't how you pronaounce it in English but It seems to me looks like the Haji. Has he ever been in Macca :-)

I have listened to many of Hagee sermons and have read many of his articles during past several years. He is far worse than Ahamdinejad. He claims "Shah" regime was a democracy! he sends millions of dollars of aids to Israel every year. He officially confesses to be a Zionist. He runs operation exodus; helping Jewish people to move to Israel. He claims to have access to US top secret information on Iranian nuclear program! last year, he claimed Iran was busy building electromagnetic shock bombs to attack America! He runs a national group called "American united for Israel".
He lives in a gated community in San Antonio, on a salary of about 1 million/year!!!
He hosts "the jight to honour Israel" annually in his cornerstone church in san antonio.

There're many individulas like Hagee in North America (including Canada) people that go beyond redneckness, beyond insanity. They're the equivalent of ahmadinejad and his kind with clear apocaliptic views of how the civilization will be doomed. The difference is that in Iran such individuals are under 24/7 brainwashing messages whereas the kinds of Hagee are like that on their own.
