CANNES: Marjane Satrapi and Vincent Paronnaud Exclusive Interview

Jean-Pierre Lavoignat editor in Chief of Film Magazine STUDIO in Cannes Majestic Hotel interviews the duet of directors of Persepolis about their upcoming film based on Satrapi's Book Chicken with Plums.The film renamed Waiting for Azrael will be shot in Technicolor and Cinemascope in tribute to Old age Cinema. With a mixed European and Iranian Cast ranging from Chiara Mastroianni, Edouard Baer, Golshifteh Farahani, Isabella Rosselini and Jamel Debouze to name a few and with former James Bond Villain, Mathieu Amalric. The Film is to be shot in the Mythical Studio's of Babelsberg in Berlin, Germany. Shooting to Start on the 19th of July, and is the second before completing the Trilogy with "Le Onzieme Laureate" described as a "Persian Spaghetti" Western Set on the Caspian Sea.
