CANNES GOES GREEN: Jafar Panahi Honorary Jury Member in Absentia as Robin Hood Opens Festival

In absentia Iranian filmmaker Jafar Panahi becomes the Political Symbol of Cannes Film Festival 63rd edition presided this year by Tim Burton as Robin Hood Stars Russel Crowe and Cate Blanchette Open Festival with Ridley Scott's Film. Competition begins Tomorrow from May 13 to May 23rd where the Palme D'Or will be attributed for Best film. Ridley Scott's Film Triggered Off the Film Festival as an Off Competition Film.

Ridley Scott presents "The Green Man" as Robin Hood was known as a Constitutional Revolutionary of his time aiming at forcing Prince John to accept the First Magna Carta. (See BBC Interview)
