or perhaps a white water rapid river in the mountains
If I could be a plant perhaps a Cedar in Lebanon
... or a Cypress in the Tuscan hills of my youth
If I could be a creature perhaps a lizard...
or what about a King Cobra in Thailand
they eat other snakes for a living
I am told or what about a salt
water crocodile if I may be
so bold or a sword fish
or what about a seal
the Leopard seal
that predatory
kind in arctic
waters
you
choose
two can play
this imaginary game
of roulette in the casino
of genetic diversity so hard
to imagine we all came from the
same single cell back when we breathed
methane instead of oxygen my dear ones
but then again you could be a flaming out meteor
a galaxy far far away, moon of Jupiter or ring of Saturn
there is no end to the possibilities where dreams are born
