Namaz (addendum)

In the name of God the compassionate, ever merciful

Namaz should be done 5 (five) times a day. Those who know what this Anonym stands for, would know that there is special reason for saying it! This may be difficult for some dear people who are used to performing it 3 times a day, but they must understand that it is my obligation to say this to you.

Namaz can be spoken in original Arabic language but the people who are not 100% familiar with the Quranic Arabic, can think of the proper and valid translation of each verse or sentence of the Namaz in their own language as they recite it. If one does not understand the Namaz as they perform it, they would be wasting their time. Consider the following:

((beginning of) Sureh An-Nisa, Verse #43):

"O you who believe! do not go near prayer when you are Intoxicated until you know (well) what you say, ..."

Clearly this verse is not just about intoxication, but it indicates that one MUST know what it is that they are saying to God when praying. Intoxication is one reason why people will not know what they say, but not knowing the language would clearly be another good reason!

Thank you for reading this.

Tavana

by Anonym on

Thanks brother for your input. Here is my belief.

What is known as the 'Shia' Islam, or the followers of Imam Ali (AS) and the descendents of the prophet Mohammad (SAWW) is actually the main Islam. Any other version of Islam is a deviation. The ones who were unjust to the prophet of Islam (SAWW), Imam Ali (AS) and the family of the prophet of Islam, created other sects within Islam.

You seem to be an intelligent person. Please investigate, without bias and thoroughly, what is known as 'Ghadeer Khom'. I hope that maybe perhaps it will change your mind.

Prayers, Slanderers, & More

by Tavana on

On the Suject of Prayers:

".........and be constant in prayer: for, prayer restrains [man] from loathsome deeds and from all that runs counter to reason; ......" (Ghoron 29:45)

Prayer is not asking. It is a longing of the soul. It is daily admission of one's wekness. Mahtama Gandhi

I not only bow to the inevitable, I am fortfied by it. Thornton Wilder

On the Subject of Slandering:

"........avoid most guesswork [that may lead to unfounded suspicion of another person's motives] about one another - for, behold, some of [such] guesswork is [in itself] a sin; and do not spy one another, and neither allow yourselves to speak ill of another behind your backs....." (Ghoron 49:12)

On the Subject of Mingling with Others:

"..... call upon them with wisdom & goodly exhortation, and argue with them in the most goodly manner; for, behold, only your Sustainer knows best as to who strays from His path, and best knows He as to who are the right-guided." (Ghoron 16:125)

On the Subject of Shia and other Brand Names:

None of those are allowed in Ghoron. Period. And if it was not due to such break ups, no foreign military force of any power would have dared to occupy the so called Muslim countries one after another for the past 10 years.

Namaz ...

by Anonym on

... is the same for of all Moslems. Yours truly, a Shia myself and many other Shias do Namaz 5 times a day. If that makes us future Shia-bashers then that is news to us.

It's funny that why a non-believer would be so interested in 'helping' the Shia? New decoding machines are needed here or maybe we should plug in the decoding machine to the decoder himself?

The Romans' 'Rumis'

by Tavana on

PS: And what in the world "dropping your bucket into Jamkaran's well.........." is all about, may we ask

P.S. If you pay attention to Foroghi's lips, you see he actually sings NAMAZ, 1:05, but they changed it to NEYAZ! You had to see that cover on the record, vov, vov!
