Will you consider selling this art? How large are the pieces (dimensions)? I would like to offer to buy the first and last one.
Refreshing
by Princess on Mon Feb 23, 2009 06:54 AM PSTThese are beautiful. I love the wabi-sabi effect of the number 6 and number 7; almost like Japanese scrolls.
Do you know about Khatt? If not, you might be interested to check them out. I have long believed that the Arabic script needs a modernised version, and it seems finally some people are beginning to do that. //www.khtt.net/
Another artist that might interest you is Brice Marden.
Thank you for the post!
Modernized

I like the way you modernized an ancient Iranian Art.

by Nazy Kaviani on Sun Feb 22, 2009 10:36 PM PSTPersian calligraphy is art of the heart.
Ms. Tadayoni's works seem to be a combination of painting and calligraphy. I wish a little bit of information was also provided about the names of these pieces, as well as an artist biography. What poems and names a calligrapher picks for her work can be so telling about motivations and perspectives.
My favorite is number 1, which in its simplicity and austerity speaks volumes to me. Thank you for sharing this.
