بوتیمار

همچون بوتیمار که

بر لب دریا می نشیند

و هرگز آب نمی خورد

از ترس آن که

آب دریا

تمام شود


روبرویت نشسته ام

و جرأت دست زدن

به تو را ندارم

از ترس آن که

اشتیاق دستانم

همۀ ذرّات وجودت را

در خود کشند و

تمامت کنند.

Bittern


Like a bittern
Who sits by the sea
And never drinks from it
In fear that the water
Would be finished

I am sitting
In front of you and
Do not dare to touch you
In fear that the
Longing of my hands
Would devour you
And you would be finished
