Another unbearable tragedy for the Pahlavi family. My heart goes out to them. In particular, may Farah Phalavi have the strength to cope with this unspeakable loss.

Sometimes I wonder if

there is any God. Why all the bad things happen to good people? Why Iranians are so unfortunate? Why we dont hear this type of bad news about murderous mullahs?

Guys, Shahi or anti-shahi, this is just a poem I wrote upon reading news of Alireza's death. It is about how he might have been feeling and his thoughts close to his death. This is just my impression of what he might have thought, and reality obviously might have been different.

We Did it Our Way

 If death comes to take me away

 Or I kiss the angel of death today

 Don't cry for me my beloved land

 For I have cried enough for both of us

For a land almost destroyed

For a family forever scorned

And all I wanted to say

was that we did it our way
