Old-age love-making

Old-age love-making

Mystery of wisdom

Turns on,

Beauty of logic

Just adds on,

This thread woven in heart,

But matured in time,

Each wrinkle but a witness,

Our days, not, but persisted,

Kissing a conflict goodbye,

“Who said it was going

To be luscious and this long,”

Years’ ambition, ego’s demise -

This union not defined in a hurry,

– a foreplay made in grace and glory,

Body frails yet heart trembles,

Mind escapes yet soul flies.

Love always...

Expression of love is desirable and beautiful at any age. But, you are the one who can paint the warm and lovely picture with a hint of reality that while it protects its integrity, it does not compromise its allure.

Great poem, Farhad. I like the way you in your poem nicely paint a portrait of love in not-so-young ages.
