Abdi and Namjoo started together

Abdi understands music as well as Mohsen Namjoo does.  Behravan and Namjoo met during their military service, and it was the beginning of their friendship and musical inspiration.  They formed one of the first underground bands in Iran called MUD.  It was during one of their jam sessions (Abdi on Guitar and Mohsen on 3tar) that they realized how close blues is to dashti.  They made many good pieces together such as Vagh Vagh-e Sag.  I love their music (together and apart).  I understand why some people might not like Abdi's work, but I connect with his music and have a great respect for him perhaps because we are from the same generation and have gone through similar experiences in life.
