Thanks Mj and Kambiz, Patti
by skatermom (not verified) on Mon Sep 29, 2008 12:45 PM PDTThanks Mj and Kambiz,
Patti Smith, in my opinion is one of the most talented and influential women of rock and roll. She is the god mother of punk rock. I'm happy to see Iranian journalists connecting Farsi speakers to other genres of music and art and vice versa. You've now inspired me to break out my old Patti vinyls.
Fantastic

Lovely idea!
by Monda on Mon Sep 29, 2008 09:28 AM PDTWe'd all be there at her concert! Or even better idea would be to get Bono, Knopfler, and other greats to join her perhaps at the old Amjadiyeh.
Can't wait till WoodStock in Tehran ;0)
