The aghazadehs in Canada,

by Anonymousso0 (not verified) on

The aghazadehs in Canada, GB, and Dubai, though not royalties, have embezzled millions of dollars from Beit-ol-mal and are living it up in the West and Persian Gulf states, spending it on prostitutes and what not. Rafsanjani et al are some of the richest clan in the world. Khameni receives a certain percentage of all oil revenues and directly pockets it....

Those Aghazadehs and Khanoomzadehs have done nothing for Iran except ripping off poor Iranians. The tragedy is that there seem to be no end in their raping and plundering of Iranian national wealth.

Structure (Haft Seen): Nothing but the Truth

by Abol Danesh, Unemployed & Hungry (not verified) on

...let's face it...

In less than 60 years over 90 percent of the current living Iranians will be dead and over 70 years almost all will be wiped out from the face of earth not counting the new babies are born.

So what remains eternal is the country... simply people come to this bus and then they disappear in a relatively short span of life...
Therefore what needs to be focused as the priority and as only first priority is the well being and the glorficatin of this proverbial bus... to make it prettier.. shinier... and more glorious ....over time through great work of masters in manuments and ever lasting awe raising structure...

This is my Universal Truth! Man dies but country does not! Man is temporary but country is eternal!

Pathetic Comments from fellow compatriots ...

by Darius Kadivar on

Some of you out there are beyond mental cure ...

If you are living in the US why don't you leave the SATAN's NEST and go back to your toilet headed elected leaders ?

You deserve the shit YOU created. Leave the Diaspora and the exiled community you despise so much and join your HEZBEH SAZANDEGHI.

Bunch of Shitheads like you kicked us and our fathers who helped build our country and now have the nerve to critisize our values and life styles in the name of cheap morality ?

I respect Ahmadinejad for ONE thing and that is he stands for his shitty values and lives according to those standards. You out there benefit from the freedom and oppurtunities and the life style you discovered during the Pahlavi era and their so called "Westoxication" policies and now are spitting on them as if you did not benefit from it. Even the english you read and write was given to you by the universities and schools they built.

You are just a bunch of Namak Nashnas and Iran truly doesn't nor ever deserved its Kings or Queens.

America should tell YOU NON -YANKEES TO GO HOME !

If You don't like it get lost and leave the corrupt West, What's holding you ?

Badbakhthayeh Hezbollahi Long live YOUR Toilet Headed Republic !

Happy NoRooz to ONLY those who share the Spirit of generosity and humanity.

A nice family picture.

by Shahram (not verified) on

A nice family picture. That's all!

I'm no fan of monarchy, but I don't hate this family either. Yes, the shah's regime was corrupt and at the service of foreign influence, but that had nothing to do with this family, especially the children who are as innocent as any other Iranian kids. As long as Reza Pahlavi acts as a simple private citizen and does not collaborate with adversaries, he has my respect. He should understand that he and his family are not relevant to the Iranian politics anymore.

Wish them a Happy Norooz

by ramintork on

It is possible to have a different political point of view, and still respect one another.

In my case I prefer a secular decmocratic Federal Republic of Iran but I look at this picture and see a man who does not carry his father's sins or any of his honours (being agnostic I don't believe in such a concept) a man who just like many of us is trying hard to find a peaceful roadmap towards a velvet revolution, so that outsiders do not blow bombs on our soil. I see an ex queen who did her part for women's rights in Iran, and children who were not born when we all started fighting over our political turfs.

I see a lovely Iranian family, and wish them a Happy Norooz.

To StopTheHate

by Ali (not verified) on

Oh please, give us a break with the usual monarchist "mennat gozashtan" on the Iranian people!

First of all, if building some roads and hospitals would buy respect for brutal corrupted dictators, then Saddam Hussein should be considered as being more "respectable" than the Pahlavis!!

Secondly, it's true that Reza Shah built a lot of infrastructures and we sincerely thank him for that (I really mean it). But for how many generations should the Iranian people keep thanking and showing their "gratefulness" to the Pahlavis and "owing" them (as you put it)? Do we really "owe" anything to Reza Pahlavi and his children because their great-grandfather built some roads and hospitals in Iran 80 years ago?!

Thirdly, maybe it is time for the monarchist to present some new ideas and visions for the future in order to promote their cause, instead of always reminding people of a few achievements they had in 37 years old absolute monarchy! And for your information, even the I.R build more roads and hospital than they did.

Happy New Year to you all

by StopTheHate (not verified) on

Happy New Year to this family and to other true Iranians.

We owe all our schools, roads, hospitals, and infrastructure to this family. Did you go to school in Iran? You owe it to this family. Did you parents or grand parents go to a hospital in Iran? You owe that to this family. Whether you want to admit it or not, that is a fact. You dont have to be a "Palavi lover". You just have to have eyes ears and a brain to know that is the fact.

Without this family Iran would be another backwards arab country like Iraq...oh wait, the mullahs have been turning it into Saudi Arabia since 1979 AND killing our Iranian youth AND stumping on our national pride, farsi language AND imprisoning Iranian freedom fighters AND sponsoring worldwide terrorism.

Stop the hate.

Happy New Year!

Eide hamatoon mobarak baad!

To : ?

by Ali P. on

I appreciate your honesty.

I am in the same boat.

Whether Reza Pahlavi's Dad was a good guy, or a bad guy, doesn't have any effect on my opinion of him. He is his own man.

Regarding his following, it depends whom you talk to. According to some, he is popular, and others say no one cares about him; usually depending on the person's own view towards him.

You get the same impression by comments made on this site; some blindly, love him, and others blindly, hate him, usually on the account of his father. Stupid reasons are offered to validate their legitimacy, and idiotic claims are offered to question their relavance. And then there are logical calm voices, both for and against this family.

Like many questions that I am left to speculate about, this remains unanswered for me, and I guess, maybe for you.

For now, I am keeping an open mind.

 Fellow FreeThinker,

Ali P.

by Help (not verified) on

I hope that someone on this site can help me. I don't know what to think of this family considering that I was very young when his dad was running Iran.

Why is this family still relevant? Does this family have an actual following in Iran? I mean a verifiable grass-roots following. I am trying to figure out if they are they as relevant as the Confederate flag in the US.

I would appreciate someone showing me something, anything, that tells me that the son has something real and tangible to offer aside from wanting to put dad's crown on his head.

There are millions of families in Iran that dress like the Ahmadinejads. They sit and eat on sofrehs. They wear chador gol golis. They take their shoes off. They sit on "poshtees". Since we can't be respectful to each other, we don't deserve better than these shikkanpikkan people! Eideh norooz mobarak.

Are you Iranian?

by Shahrokh Saadat-Nejad (not verified) on

So many Iranians that live outside of Iran have turned into traitors to their country, and religion. Ask your self this: "How many Iranians do I know that own defense stocks in the US?" - The word defense is a distraction that the US government uses.

I have been to anti-war protests which we yell "No War With Iran". I don't even go anymore because all I kept seeing was a handfull of Iranians that show up, and the ones that do, mock me for carrying a Iranian flag, or wearing a hat with a Iranian flag on it, and I am not talking about the old lion flag. The rest of the people that show up are a bunch of gay people with their rainbow flags. It makes me sick.

How many Iranians outside of Iran worship and fund Mojahedin-e-Khalq (MEK) terrorists? Islamic Cultural Center of Northern California (iccnc.org) in Oakland was created by MEK agents, and it was funded by MEK agents. They iccnc.org have two faces. The same MEK agents have opened up other centers in the US (Colorado), under the banner of Islam. It makes me sick.

MEK terrorist agent Alireza Jafarzadeh whom wroks for Fox News Network is a clear sign of how bad Iranians are outside of Iran. They deny the 9/11 facts. On September 11, 2001 the cable news channels CNN and The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) reported that the Salomon Brothers Building (Better known as the World Trade Center Building 7) has collapsed. CNN’s employee Mr. Aaron Brown reported this at the time of on or around 4:16pm (EST), and then BBC’s employee Ms. Jane Standley reported this at the time of on or around 4:55pm (EST) both live on TV. World Trade Center Building 7 (Salomon Brothers Building) collapsed at the time of on or around 5:23pm (EST) on September 11, 2001. The CNN and BBC early reporting’s of the World Trade Center Building 7 (Salomon Brothers Building) has collapsed is proof that the Zionist terrorist controlled media itself was involved with the terrorist events of 9/11. Excuse after excuse from CNN and BBC of this early reporting is what we the people got from them, which BBC even says that they have lost all of their tapes for September 11, 2001 (One can go to google.com and search on YouTube for these alleged lost tapes). It makes me sick.

On September 19, 2005 two Undercover Elite British Special Air Service Regiment Soldiers were caught, arrested, and jailed in Iraq for driving around in a car loaded with weapons, ammunition and bombs in Iraq as they were murdering any Iraqis that is in their sight, which included women and children. They were arrested by Iraqi police. Both British SAS Soldiers were wearing Middle Eastern clothes, and both soldiers were wearing black turbans on their heads as they were randomly shooting women, children, and men. Only Muslim Scholars wear turbans, and the color black is mostly worn by Shia Muslim Scholars (Iran). By way of deception, thou shalt do war is what the occupiers (U.S., British, France, Mossad, Etc...) have been doing. British forces with several tanks, and helicopters went to the jail that the two undercover Elite SAS Soldiers were being held at and smashed the walls of the jail and took their soldiers away. Several Iraqis were murdered and injured during that British operation. It makes me sick.

They are not like Reza Shah Kabeer

by sasan (not verified) on

Reza Shah kabeer was a honorable King and did many good things for Iran. He freed Iran and Iranians from the stupid non-iranian Qajar dynasy(Iran forosh) and started with modernization of Iran. We Iranians owe him everything that we have, our national identity, honor etc. Unfortunatly his son, Mohammd Reza was not like him and did many mistakes in his reign. In fact Mullah regime is a result of his mistakes. Even his marriages were full of mistakes. His wives were non-iranian, Fousehe was Arab, Soraya was half German, Farah is a Turk and god knows how many others.

Pahlavis are just about looks and poz, Not a real iranian family

by Anonymous-2010 (not verified) on

it is extremely ignorant and dumb that these iranians try to compare ahmadinejad vs pahlavis in looks. Yes, in looks pahlavi has the show off and modern looks and ahmadinejad is a religous poor looking family. but what they have in common is that both shah and ahmadinejad are ruthless dictators. if shah and his family had any respect by our people or had a shoulder over their heads, they would have been kicked out of iran in a matter of four/five months. The pahlavis are bunch of theives that are living on iranian people's wealth since Reza Khaan (shah) took the power by force in a coupe. They are much more beautiful looking iranian families than Pahlavis.

Symbolic representatives of what IRANIANS can be ...

by Shahriariaran (not verified) on

This is what Iranians long for to have their smiles back on their face, to stand tall and proud of their heritage, to realize that Iranians can have and will have the right to live in freedom thriving under a democratic system that can tolerate diversity of ideas, religions and cultures.

This family represents a symbolic value of what Iran CAN and SHOULD be, prosperous and free. If you can’t see that, value you that, then you are not on the side of Iran and Iranians.

God bless Iran

Proud of what??????????????????

by Bijan1977 (not verified) on

The commentator "CS" says he/she is proud of this family. What r u proud of? Alireza, the younger son is a drug addict. Leila died of an overdoze a few years ago. she was with a different man every other week. shah and farah always had a rough time, wanted to show off they are Ok only on the surface and media. these are not rumors but the truth. find a hard working family from a village in Iran and they are more respectable than these.
