Iranain-American Oliver Shokouh is the founder of "Love Ride" and owner of Harley-Davidson/Buell of Glendale, California. Now in its 24th year, the Love Ride -- Southern California's annual cruiser mecca -- is getting a face lift, with a change of venue and a new three-day adjunct called California Bike Week. Instead of the usual 35-mile pilgrimage to Castaic Lake, the 15,000 bikers expected to turn out for the world's largest one-day motorcycle fundraiser. Here he's being interviewed for being inducted in the Sturgis Hall of Fame in 2007:

by desi on Mon Oct 20, 2008 10:01 PM PDTThis Iranian made her husband sell her husband's road king over summer and is about to put the other on the chopping block. I'm not a big fan of wind in my hair, bug in my teeth adventures. If there's anyone out there interested in a 1966 handmade sportster bobber please let me know. I know...I'm a meanie.
His T-shirt!

very cool!
by American Wife on Mon Oct 20, 2008 11:47 AM PDTHarley riders ROCK. My brother has a Harley street bike. Probably hasn't ridden it in a few years as it's collecting dust in his garage but he's had it since the late 70's. I was visiting him in Biloxi, Miss while he was doing his internship in cardiology while in the AF and we went cruisin' around. Him with his short AF haircut and both of us in khaki's and docksiders in our mid 20's, we came up on a biker's rally... cruised up the entrance and were told that we needed to reconsider our intentions...LOL. We ended up sitting on the side of the interstate listening to the music. I was pissed. I was sure I would have won the wet tee shirt concert.
Farrad
by Kaveh Nouraee on Mon Oct 20, 2008 10:29 AM PDTIt looks like his shirt says "ugly".
This is uncommon. You usually don't hear about Iranians or Middle Easterners who are into Harley-Davidsons. I'm sure there are more, but they must be under the radar.
King Hussein of Jordan was also a big Harley fan, I hear.
Nice clip.
Check out his T-shirt.
