Excerpts from Sen. Obama's speech yesterday at the about his future policies towards Iran's regime at an event organized by American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC): The Iranian regime supports violent extremists and challenges us across the region. It pursues a nuclear capability that could spark a dangerous arms race and raise the prospect of a transfer of nuclear know-how to terrorists. Its president denies the Holocaust and threatens to wipe Israel off the map. The danger from Iran is grave, it is real, and my goal will be to eliminate this threat>>>FULL TEXT

Are people like Lieberman more loyal to the U.S or to Israel?
by RostamehZaal (not verified) on Fri Jun 06, 2008 08:58 AM PDTObama needs to appeal to the AIPAC to increase his chances for winning the election. He does use the the same rhetorics as the current administration, but at least he will not use force against Iran and instead he will rely on diplomacy. However, it's appalling that these Jews have so much influence in this country that a Presidential Candidate has to act as if he or she is running for office in Israel. Joe Lieberman act as if he is the representative of the Israeli Government. Sometimes I wonder about people like Lieberman. Is their loyalty to this country or to Israel?
The Maximum
by Anonymouse on Fri Jun 06, 2008 08:40 AM PDTI suppose the maximum would be to eliminate Iran or better yet, obliterate Iran.
What would be The In-between? A bogged down war like Iraq I suppose.

The Minimum
by Zion on Fri Jun 06, 2008 08:42 AM PDTThere is nothing surprising here for anyone with half a brain. What he says here is the minimum he can do to show that he is not a moron with a third world mentality and the related inferiority complexes. That is what you have to do if you want to be the president of the United States of America, since no moron of this magnitude should ever become the president.
It is always a pleasure, though, to see the islamist-leftist alliance of morons (ILAM), the eternal losers, yet again start to whine in pain. Reality has this rather nasty habit of shattering their wet dreams.
Always a pleasure. ;-)
Islamists, Sex and AIPAC
by Fred on Fri Jun 06, 2008 06:34 AM PDTThe Obama basher says: “Try to see all issues from both sides. To [sic] many people like Fred are making to [sic] many problems for sane people to handle, as such, innocents die. “The logic of this argument is based on opposing the Islamist Republic is tantamount to having “innocents die”. The efficacy of this logic is as valid as the quintessentially Islamist sexual analysis of the not agreeable politics which is given in the post script to the post.
Wha..?
by ToofanZeGreat on Fri Jun 06, 2008 05:40 AM PDTIts not Iranian business? What fictional world are you living in?? Syrian security, Lebanese security, Iraqi security and regional security is directly tied with Iran since its a regional powerhouse (war brings boarder crossed drugs, crime, prostitution, bad economy, bad trade etc).
This moron (Obama) just adopted a policy what Abbas says is the "worst thing happening to the peace process since 1967".
Now terrorist groups, extremist groups, and religious groups across the middle east (Including the IRI) got more ammo against the US and Israel, you stupid idiots, its not being "islamic" for bashing Obama on this, its reality, you want a just peace, not a one sided George Bush policy.. hell even G.W has a better Israeli Palestine policey than Obama now..
Try to see all issues from both sides. To many people like Fred are making to many problems for sane people to handle, as such, innocents die.
PS:
Its shamefull that american politicians line up and give head to AIPAC one by one in a nut sucking contest to prove who is the biggest slut. Obama won, as a satisfied Olmert looked down on him and said "Very Impressive" then went and got Obama a towel.
Great Speech
by David ET on Fri Jun 06, 2008 04:50 AM PDTBased on facts and reality and not slogans and emotions. Frank and right to the point.
As for Jeruselum unlike what Islamic Republic wants it to be: it is none of our (Iranians) business. It is a matter between Israelis and Palestinians but my personal views is that in general no city in the world should be divided for political and religious reasons. It just has too many family and social consequences (eg: Berlin Wall)
But what is our busines is that he gave the best summary I have ever heard from anyone:
"Iranian regime is the author of its own isolation".
Ike's question
by Fred on Fri Jun 06, 2008 04:19 AM PDTPrior to AIPAC speech Obama’s not being a Muslim or an Iranian used to be part of the major attracting point for the Islamist Republic’ sycophantic supporters and in particular the conjoined twins Islamist lobby. The simple reason being if Obama were a Muslim or Iranian he would instantly know that the Islamist Republic is the antitheses to Iranians' understanding of Islam or an Iranian. Already the Islamist spokesman in the Islamist occupied Tehran has started the usual mudslinging against Obama as the dejected Islamists/lefties all over including on this site have begun to follow their lead.

Fred: Do the Islamist understand that Obama is neither a moslem nor Iranian???
Do they understand that the interests (National, economic, strategic and ideological) of the world and the US is diametrically opposed to the interest/agenda of the Islamic Republic??
Yes, he is selling out
by Anonymous8 (not verified) on Thu Jun 05, 2008 04:17 PM PDTtoo bad too, it's not like Fred will be voting for him under any circumstances. He should not give an inch on foreign policy.

The key important point..
by ToofanZeGreat on Thu Jun 05, 2008 01:50 PM PDTHe states that the ENTIRE city of Jerusalem should go to the Israelis, is he crazy or did he drink to much AIPAC funny water before that speech. Whats next, the Golan Heights and Southern Lebanon belongs to Israel to? Every arab in the world lifted their brows in disgust.. Get ready all you iranians who wrote and gave so much love for Obama, because your about to get bitch slapped for 4 more years..
Ron Paul, Kucinich, Mike Gravel was offered, they grabbed McCain, Hillary and Obama.. Now eat it.
Open season on Obama
by Fred on Thu Jun 05, 2008 01:09 PM PDTWhat in the world is he talking about, hasn’t he received the wish list of Islamist lobbyist in America. Doesn’t he know they are praying/propagandizing extra hard for him to win the US presidency so by normalize relations he can ensure the longevity of their beloved Islamist Republic? Doesn’t he care about all those eggs on the shocked faces of the Islamists? What is this world coming to when you can’t even trust a Hussein to cozy up to the Islamist Republic? Perhaps the Islamist conjoined twins lobby needs to reevaluate its take on Americans and realize they are not that gullible to fall for their Islamist nonsense after all. Now get ready set go, it is open season on Obama for all the dejected Islamists.
"Eliminate" the "threat"?
by Anonymouse on Thu Jun 05, 2008 12:17 PM PDTThe day after cliching the nomination with all the "historical" stuff attached to it, what should the "historical" candidate do? Go to a cash cow Political Action Committee (PAC) and pay your respects. Ahead of NAACP or any other organization white or black who helped you get there.
Note to Hillary, use the word "eliminate" instead of "obliterate". Note to Obama, "eliminate" seems to work, even better than Ahmadinejad's "wiping" off.
Oh and one more note to Obama, do all the Iran bashing early on when everyone is drunk with the "historical" stuff to test different "elimination" therories and get prepared for November when you'll have no choice but to nuke Iran virtually, like all those who came before you.
