I wish him well
by MRX on Thu Jan 17, 2008 10:19 AM PSTproblem is the mullah's know what some one like him can bring into the picture. Remember poland and solidority. what makes it hard thoug is while solidority was supported by U.S and western Europe, this guy is very much on it's own. His achievemnts are remarkable considering the kind of animals and thugs that rule iran now. Hope he get's released soon and does not end up like zahra kazemi.
I hope and pray
by MB (not verified) on Thu Jan 17, 2008 02:04 AM PSTI hope and pray that Osanloo and his friend will be out asap, and that all workers of Iran and the world get the fair share that they are entilted to.
Country's wealth is in the pockets of fat mullahs
by Anon (not verified) on Wed Jan 16, 2008 09:17 PM PSTThe poor people of Iran were protesting against their government in 1979 under false hopes of obtaining "free gas", "free electricity" and an "end to poverty" that khomeini had promised to them.
Instead, the mullahs take the vast oil money to fund worldwide terrorism, and ration oil for the citizens of one of the largest oil producing countries in the world.
Now, inflation is choking every citizen. Iran's poverty level is getting worse with every year. Ordinary people have reluctantly turned to drug use and prostitution to cope with their miserable economic and social lives.
What do the mullahs do in response? The mullahs cut off the tongue of the union leader for speaking our for the poor.
These three are what all mullahs know how to execute well:
1) torturing innocient Iranians,
2) executing innocent Iranians,
3) and dismembering innocent Iranians.
Dorood and Shame
by Milan (not verified) on Wed Jan 16, 2008 07:46 PM PSTDorood bar Osanloo and other Iranians whose conscience and integrity make them stand against this evil regime. At the same time, much SHAME on those Iranians who go to Iran every chance they get, kiss Mullah's ass, and return--business as usual.

I am with you
by Kiana (not verified) on Wed Jan 16, 2008 06:32 PM PSTI am with you friend.majority of Iranians who have potential to get rid of this regime, are afraid to lose their F... money when they have lost everything suchas pride, dignity, Gheirat and sharaf....
Is there anything above your child ? why are you sitting quiet when you see your kids are being hanged from the cranes?
I just don't understand it!
Power of the People!
by Payam Shahfari (not verified) on Wed Jan 16, 2008 04:40 PM PSTHere is a perfect example of how justice and freedom is won. Through solidarity and cooperation of the working class. Not in the the hands of some elite aristocrats who have no common interest with the majority of the population, specially those who are chanting slogans from outside of the country. If you have ever wondered why the United States has the most free society in the world and has many democratic characteristics (of course far from all), the reasons are specifically organization, struggle, and opposition to government rule and corporate tyranny, through solidariy of the workers, students, and the poor. It was not a gift from the government, it was won by the people. This is exactly what is going on in Iran today as it did before the revolution, but with a major difference that it has anarchist tendencies and has no affiliation to any political figures or parties, which makes it more legitimate and democratic. More power to our brother Mansoor Osanloo and his comrades.
Ain't no power like the power of the people, cause the power of the people don't stop!!!
Peace and Solidarity,
Payam Shahfari

Current situation in Iran!
by Tahirih (not verified) on Wed Jan 16, 2008 03:50 PM PSTThe arrangements of the circumstances of the people must be such that poverty shall disappear, that everyone, as far as possible, according to his rank and position, shall share in comfort and well-being.
We see amongst us men who are overburdened with riches(see Rafsangani's interview) on the one hand, and on the other those unfortunate ones who starve with nothing; those who possess several stately palaces ( Rulling Mullas and shazdeh ha), and those who have not where to lay their head.
Some we find with numerous courses of costly and dainty food(Sofreh ye Olama!!); whilst others can scarce find sufficient crusts to keep them alive. Whilst some are clothed in velvets, furs and fine linen(Rulling Mullas women!), others have insufficient, poor and thin garments with which to protect them from the cold.
A financier with colossal wealth should not exist whilst near him is a poor man in dire necessity. When we see poverty allowed to reach a condition of starvation it is a sure sign that somewhere we shall find TYRANNY!
Shame on us Iranians....
