I am proud of my past and what I stand for, if those who put my name up and my website (as an unverified login), think they can use scare tactics and use profanity to change minds you are wrong.  I  do support surgical attacks on the military and nuclear sites and have for a long time.  The events of the last 50 days have shown that a military regime in Iran would devastate the entire region if not the world.  So if the people cannot remove this regime, then military force will.  it is not for ocupying Iran bit liberating it.  Please; those of you who post comments have enough guts to either do it under your own names or if you are cowards then under anonymous. DO NOT falsify othes' names.  How pathethic some of IRI and MKO agents can get.

THANK YOU ALL, from the author

by German Vogel (not verified) on

Hey there,

Im the author of this video. My name is Germán, and Ruiz is the second last name we use in Latinamerica XD

I sincerely appreciate all of you who are capable of remaining independent thinkers in spite of an incredibly tough propaganda against the Iranian nation, in spite of silly people bringing up executions, and to simply put it, people who come in to a video titled IRAN, DECIDE FOR YOURSELF, to comment on nothing but echoes of what they have taught them how to think.

To all of those trying to discredit me: You are just fooling yourselves, for I am no nut, but an educated, sincerely motivated and smart person you wish would be on your side.

Kind regards from Chile,
Germán

Xerxes Jaan:

You have your heart in the right place but your priorities are wrong. Your anger and compassion should be directed more towards the death and destruction that is taking place right now, in Iran. You should be thinking about those who are getting hanged or stoned in pubic, those whose limbs are being chopped off (right hand, left foot), those who are being thrown off of roof tops, those who are being tortured in prison, the women of Iran who have to put up with the indignity of being told what to wear or slapped around for desiring to look attractive (one of the most basic human needs), the youth in Iran who are getting lashed for being youthful and partying. You should also be thinking of the Kurds and other minorities who have been massacred, the youth who were deceived to walk on mine fields, the people obliterated for their political point of view and all those who were massacred in the various uprisings, including the students, against this tyrannical regime. You are a man of literature and I am sure you know Khaanlaris poem “the Eagle”. Would you want to live as the crow or the eagle? The indignity of life under the IRI’s inhumane rule should be on the forefront of your mind. Sometimes, faced with absolute and vulgar tyranny, you are unable to defend yourself and you need help. Don’t prejudge people and think yourself the only patriot. As we discussed before, in 1945 Iran would have lost its northern territories had it not been for foreign intervention, because Iranians themselves were incapable of driving out the Russians. Same is true of Europe under Nazi occupation. Those who have the misery of the people in Iran, on their minds and in their hearts, are patriots too. There are two sides to every coin.

Please you all Commentatores, Visitores of "IRANIAN", respectable Blogers: Why worry about Imperialist`s Bombs? America can do a damn thing. This fact is known by and even most little children in Iran and to all Iranians to that herous Nation. However to thast nation count - up to my oppinion - the ones who have founded thier ISLAMIC REPUBLIC of IRAN, are living there and are willing to protect what they have achieved during the last 30 years. and they are convinced: All that are Signs of the Blessing of the Revolution. The best "opprtunity" for the 1978 stil great satan to bomb Iran was as its lakai was stil in Iran. But the - today not any more so great - satan knew: NO CHANCE for devils. So it hopped to engagage itself with the ISLAMIC REPUBLIC. Offered the a big geographical area as the islamic part where the Religious personalities could - and should have to - live like Pope in Vatican. But no Chance. And since then the devil knows: THE ISLAMIC REPUBLIC of IRAN IS ASSAILABLE, INVULNERABLE. so I think it is most irrational to discuss the item: Will, should, would the tiny devil laying in his death bed attack Iran. So please dont worry, be happy. Greeting.

Since nobody - neither his "frieds" nor his political oppponents has a good YAD an his majesty, the most last Perser kaiser, so it is just appropriate to rename the Place. As that Person was stil in Iran, because the peanuts merchant named carter had not yet given him green Light to leave iran, the Heros, the young Iranians conquered the Manument which was built by the bahais and Jews. The heros wrotte on the manument: VASEHH TAR NATAVAN GOFT with black an in big letters. That is because the manument stil stands. Just like the palaces of that "thrown away" family. Thier Buildings are all heal, stand and function as Museums. That is the true Logic of the Heros who founded the ISLAMIC REPUBLIC of IRAN, are living there and are willing to protect what they have achieved since 1978. The AZADI MANUMENT is one of these Achievements. Why should the name of Mr. Amanat or the name of his Grand Pa not be mentioned? Destroing Objects, Buildings and likewise is not part of the nature of those Poeple in Today-Iran. Your comment is the proove. I think Mr. Amanat`s Grand Pa had known or at least had assumed what was going on against jews in Iran in favoure and Collaboration with Germans and about the coming dirty job which was planed with germans against jews in Iran. So he bekame bahai. Can that be so? Greeting.

this is great, majority are Iranian and makes me proud and some are khod-forukhteh and that's OK. What is a new cons plan? to bring democracy to the middle east? democracy is not salt or Paprika to put it in the back of a donkey and transfer it to another country. Freedom and democracy are like respect, not given but earned. If any country attacks Iran, bombs the areas to weaken the regime, it won't come out to the point of weakening Iranian regime. It would make IRI much stronger, with the support of the proud Iranians who have now been attacked. IRI won't sit quiet. For bad or worse, the "little strategic Strike" would most probably end up to become a real war. So for those who like Iran to be bombed I just say, please, go to the Googoosh concert and live your life in LA, enjoy it AND PLEASE for the sake of Iran, leave Iran out of your life. If I don't like IRI I proudly announce it and would die to revolt against it. I sacrifice my life, rather than give another life a way. I won't start a regime change based on my selfish goals.
Those who like to kiss the westerners ass remember something, A decent human being realizes the strength of the ideas and knowledge that one holds and respects that, once that lost and khaayeh maali begins, they lose respect. Just like the old days when Arabs and Iranians were made fun of in the west, as just ignorant people who have oil. That's it. Think about it, if you don't know it, read about it. Standing up for Iran is to help Iran find her way to freedom. Sell Iran and....use your imagination and/or Iranian history to get where I am going.

To Kurdish warrior

by Ali (not verified) on

Well, those who lived in border towns of Kurdestan (especially during the war) or in hot spots of Baluchestan, or even in Tehran during the chaos of the revolution and war, might have seen some other these things. But that doesn't mean that young men hanging from cranes are part of everyday life in Iran today!! Again, saying that young men hanging from cranes is a usual sight in Iran, is like saying that seeing people being executed on the electric chair is part of American's everyday life!

Lets be honest, at least with each other.

NO. No one is entitled to an opinion when it's about bombing my country. Period. Not only me, I don't think anyone else should have any tolerance for that kind of treason. You can't find traitors as such in any other coutnry or nationality. Shame is not my language, it's his idea. So direct your advise to a person who wants Iranians killed by the foreigners. Wants us to become submitted to the western soldiers. Wants Iran under occupation. You are advising a wrong person and again NO, no one, I don't care whether is Bush, Olmert, or King of Saudi should be able to talk about attacking Iran and get away with it. We have ass holes like him that allows those leaders to easily discuss preemptive strike.

Your Question: How many times have you, your friends, your relatives, or ANYONE you know for that matter, seen "Young men hanging from cranes" in Iran?!!!

I've seen it many times, am not sure where you are from (Prob bala shahr Tehran) but if you were visiting Iran as whole you wouldn't raise that stupid question. Don't be an ignorant, be realistic my friend.

Beautifully produced with their Heads in The Sand..

by faryarm on

This Video might not be IRI Govt sponsored; however its producer(s) think that the IRI is "heaven" on earth. They have chosen to close their eyes to the rampant corruption, hypocrisy, crime, injustice and the utter moral bankruptcy of their definition of religion and Islam.

Indeed! judge for yourself.

by Anonymous4now (not verified) on

Next time, I suggest you take your video camera in search of the mansions the Mullahs of yester years and the khodies who support them have constructed, and then show the abysmal conditions of the close to 40% in poverty. I prepared this write up for another thread, but it may do you a world of good to read it and check out the facts, for yourself, next time you are there.

In 2006, the total income of Iran, from oil, was $56 Billion according to the Economics journal, Expansion. Of this amount 35% - 40% were diverted into the various “institutes” according to the following breakdown:

Bonyadeh Ghodseh Razavi 7.1%
Bonyadeh Mostaza’afan 5.7%
Bonyadeh Sepaheh Passdaran 5.5%
Bonyadeh Fatemeh Zahra 3.6%
Bonyadeh Sahebol Zaman 3.3%
Bonyadeh 15 Khordad 1.1%
Bonyadeh Zeynabeh Kobra 1%
Komiteh Emdad Emam Khomeini 0.9%
Bonyadeh Shohada 0.6%
Bonyadeh Basijian 0.2%
Other organizations 5.4%

None of these organizations were or are accountable to anyone and although, as of 2002, they are all to pay taxes, not one has been made to pay up. Bonyadeh Mostaza’afan alone has 400,000 employees, and is headed by Rafigh Doost, whose biggest accomplishment in life was to drive Khomeini from the Airport to Behesht Zahra, in 1979. His personal wealth is over $10 Billion. Naategh Noori who used to earn a living teaching Arabic and Persian to religious families, became the head of Majlis and is now living in a house that has an area of 30,000 sqm (square meters) with its own helicopter pad. It also houses a museum of ancient artifacts that archeologists dig up but his friend rafigh doost diverts to him through the Mostaza’afin Bonyad so he can sell them on the international market. Arzi, the previous minister of Post and Telegraph owns a 37,000 sqm home that is adorned with Italian marble statues and stairs. It has 7 entrances, guarded both with dogs and people. Hadaad Aadel, the parliament speaker, has a house known as the 10 Billion Tooman palace that was given to him by the Mostaza’afin bonyad. Valayati and other khodies (not to mention the mullahs each one of whome acts as the Godfather of a "family") have amassed similar riches, at the expense of the population at large.

XerXes,

You need to see a therapist in order to manage your temper. The language you are using is indecent and shameful. Go over your comments and be your own judge. Remember that everyone is entitled to his/her opinion and you can not use vulgarity to change anyone's view.

Either Gullible or plain stupid

by Concerend Iranian (not verified) on

The maker of this video is not paid by the Iranian government. The producer is either terrfyingly gullible or absolutely stupid. I rarely call someone in such a deragotory way, but I can't help it. Anyone who goes to Iran on a regular basis knows that there is more sorrow, more anguish, more anger, and more uncertainity in Iran than most other parts of Europe, or the Americas (northa dn South). They have also not visited Iranian prisons (I am talking about political prisons) to appreciate the "truth" of the problems in Iran. There is little or none in Iran that was built by the current government that is worth looking at or admiring. Even the people in the clip look pothetic and uncomfortable. I suggest the producer take up another hobby as this one is surely a total waste of everyone's time.

Hey bastard, you and your bosses can't do shit. Get that through your stupid head moron. Do you like MKO? Many think that they are traitors. Well, you are exactly the same, on the same line. How do you think the MKO thought when they join Saddam forces to bomb "strategic" areas of my country. IRI is irrelevant when it comes to a foreign intervention. Fuck any country that raises their hand to my soil, my land and country. Bastards like you want to come back and live in a country that they support bombing. Fuck you, we don't need citizens like you. IRI is much better than MKO and idiots like you. And Bush and Dick have done enough, 1,000,000 people, innocent civilians, dead since they took office. Hope your family would be their target next not my Iran.
Zendeh baad Iran, marg bar doshmanan Iran. Khaar kose. What a mother fucking patriotic ass hole this idiot is!!??...I can't fucking believe this shit...Ass hole, I can't say enough, ass hole. Wish I was in front of him when he said it so I could ounch him so hard that his fucking mouth go to his ass.

Why don't you show Khavaron

by Anonymous100 (not verified) on

Why don't you show Khavaron with mass graves? Or south of Tehran where abject poverty makes many people to resort to criminal activities such as theft, drug addiction and so on. Why don't you show us pictures of Bam after 4 years nothing has changed?

You're insulting our intelligence with this piece of propaganda.

More than 40% of Iranain live below poverty level while the oil revenues are the highest in the history of IRan. Have you no shame...who do you think you're fooling?

Iran also has the highest rate of drug addicts? Is that ok with you???

HANDS OFF IRAN TRAITOR!! If a SINGLE bomb is dropped in Iran (even into the Kavir) you and every other traitor who campaigned for it will be held accountable and punished by the real Iranian people.

You are "Iranian" ONLY and ONLY if you oppose war and sanctions (any kind of it) against Iran. Otherwise you are stripped from that privilege and dealt with as the enemy of the people.

To Iva

by Ali (not verified) on

Oh please! The things you mentioned are NOT part of everyday reality in Iran. How many times have you, your friends, your relatives, or ANYONE you know for that matter, seen "Young men hanging from cranes" in Iran?!!!

The average Iranian has not seen anyone being "hanged" any more than the average American has seen anyone on the electrical chair!!

Stop spreading lies about Iran. Whether you like it or not, Iran is a country in progress and it will gradually achieve democracy from inside, if only the warmongers and propagandists leave it alone for a while!

The picture of mushroom cloud could be caused by Iran

by Mahmoud Ghaffari (not verified) on

Lets not confuse the issues. When neo-cons or democrats like myself call for military action against Iran, it is not to wipe this great Nation of ours off the Map. It is with surgical attacks on sensitive targets that would cripple the regime's stronghold on power. If Islamic Republic's hold on power is not checked, then they would be the ones causing the mushroom cloud to spread over the entire Persian Gulf. Iranians are proud Nationalists, and the American media and the administration realizes this as well. Our aim should be removing the Islamic lynch mob from power, and surgical attacks are the best method to remove them once and for all.

Mr. Amirka Bear! don't show beautiful places in Iran that ALL were build before advent of brutal and terroristic islamic regime, show the WHOLE picture including recent pictures of dead frozen Iranians due to ignorant management by moslem leaders.

Meydane Azadi (Freedom Square)

by Babak - San Diego (not verified) on

Its Ironic. The so called freedom square (meydane shahyade sabegh)ya meydane azadi of IRI was designed and built by a Baha'i' architect name Mr. Hossein Amanat. Even more interesting and Ironic, Mr. Amanat's grandfather was a Jew in Hamadan who became a Baha'i' in the early 1920s.
