by desi on Tue Dec 09, 2008 07:28 AM PSTAgha Majid, you're more of a Rashti than I am. My dad used to shoot morghabees. Perhaps they were slower than khoodkas.
Fesenjoon is not done with "Morghaabi"
by Majid on Mon Dec 08, 2008 07:39 PM PSTIt's with little black bird called "Khoodkaa", NOW that's Gilaki e aseel...LOL
And don't worry about the smell of Seer Torshi, just blame it in "gas leak from the oven or fire place" !
Majid khan, Barikala!!
by desi on Mon Dec 08, 2008 05:20 PM PSTMajid khan,
Barikala!! Didn't know you were so well versed in Gilaki cooking. BTW, I have to air out the house every time I open up the jar of Torshi seer. It's very potent. Don't forget morgheh torsh and fesenjoon with morghabee and only morghabee.
Great
by Majid on Mon Dec 08, 2008 04:27 PM PSTOriginal and great, Loved the music. Thanks PG.
I missed the thin air, the "soozani" rain, the smell of Gilaan's forest, and the smell of "Kabaab e oozoon booroon, mirzaa ghaasemi, Kateh with cooli fish, Reshteh khoshkaar, baaghelaa ghaategh and seer torshi" !
BTW Almost all of the houses pictured are in "Maasouleh"
I AM RASHTI AND PROUD OF IT
by Anonymous on Mon Dec 08, 2008 02:57 PM PSTI AM FROM RASHT AND VERY PROUD OF IT.
I WILL ALWAYS BE A RASHTI. EDUCATED AND WORKING HERE OVER 35 YEARS AND SURROUNDED BY AN AMERICAN WIFE WHO VISTED RASHT MANY TIMES, AND THREE AMERICAN-IRANIAN CHILDREN , I STILL HAVE MY RASHTI ACCENT. YOU KNOW IT IF YOU TALK TO ME. THANKS PARTY GIRL.
Beautiful!
by aaminian on Mon Dec 08, 2008 01:55 PM PSTI loved both the music and of course, the scenery! Brings back incredible memories. Thank you.
Bashu
by Zan Amrikai on Mon Dec 08, 2008 01:23 PM PSTIs this the area where Bashu was filmed? The houses look like the ones in the movie, if I remember correctly.
Great !
