Don't judge in general

i myself don't know where exactly Iran is. if it's in Middle East or what. but i surely know how to locate it on the map. the thing is, i get different answers each time i try to search on my query. i'm half Iranian who grew up in the Philippines and was left by my Iranian dad since i was 2months old. i have 2 other sisters and we all don't know where our dad is. we searched and have found him, one great discovery?, he's married in Iran too, with 2sons, and he's married to our Filipina mom here in the Philippines. we tried all ways to contact him, my sister went to Iran to search for him. he was found and gave promises that were broken. now, we still don't know where to find him. Persians like us are those who have nobody to ask someone about Iran. and take note, there are a lot of Filipina who were left by their Persian husbands without any kinds of support. and we maybe the same kind of those you call ignorant and other mean words.

Amazingly , they all seem to know that Iran's map resembles a cat which is of course of no consequence or significance what-so-friggin-ever!(Thanks to Ms. Noravi who made sure every single Iranian who lives in LA knows it looks like a cat!)

Iranians can't find Iran

I think a large portion of people have a difficult time with Maps in general. I've traveled a good bit of the world and every time I've stopped and asked for directions on a map of the city I was in people had a hard time reading the map and understanding where is what. Had this map been outlined by countries so you could see the "Pishe" a lot more people would have found it.

Still there is no excuse for the people who pointed to the Indian ocean, Africa, or Europe!!!!! One could argue the Persian Empire had Africa and Europe but the Indian Ocean would be a tough sell.

It is so sad to see Iranians not being able to find Iran on a world map... these are probably the same group of people that want to go back to Iran when the regime changes, I say let them pick where Iran is on the map and them buy them a ticket and send them where they pick on the map! This is not an Iranian problem though, is an American problem which is proven in previous surveys in the US.
