No middle eastern country could imagine the number of Universities and the educated people that Iran has. They believe that they can do ANYTHING and have self confidence and respect. I would never want to be like UAE, I want to be like Iran and grow naturally and reach my highest by experiencing my natural cultural growth. Naa bordeh ranj, ganj moyasar nashavad. If any western nation comes and tell you that we'll make you great, democratic and fantastic, even better than "UAE", I would say go to hell. I don't need you. If you want to help, help me with what I have not what you want me to have. answer to Mr canadian library

The main library in the city of Vancouver which is located on Georgia st in downtown is one third of the size of the library in Tehran. I have seen them both. dont make up fiction when u talk to a fellow iranian who lives in Iran.Iran is caugthing up rapidly.I go to Iran every year, year byyear is getting more modern and more developed by a very fast paece.

misunderstanding

What has been bothering me for quiet a while is calling the current regime in Iran pro-arab.We(gotta include myself for 20months of my life spent in frontier)were the ones who fought the general of al-qudsie and his huge and modern army with pretty much empty hand while Mr king was guest of honour in arabic republic of Egypt. We were being shot at by so called king hussine from Jordan(king of beggers)while just couple of years before the same guy was having fun in the island of Kish with Mr king of persia.shieks of saudi supported the son and kidnapped and raped Iranian women at Haje procession in 1985 and Khomeni called them the worst enemy of Iran.As it is for recent time,No arab country is a strategic ally with Iran(there are groups within arab countries but no arab goverment).I consider myself a shia muslim Iranian(proud of it)but by no means I share the same culture and religion and language and food,,,, with arabs.My own wie is an arab but my strong love for her never made me fall in love with the rest of them. I also have a good idea of what they(arabs)think about us, i will share that with you in some other times.

It doesn't take much to see how far we have fallen back when you visit one of the Gulf regions. Take Dubai for example. In the time when mullahs where juggling their tasbihs, the Amirs in dubai have turned wasteland of sands into a tourist and international spot. biuld lebrary or attack on universy?

in small city with population as 500.000 in Canada we have same size library.....how ever I am thinking what kind book Iranian can have in this place , all of the Koran? in others hand if government of Iran can take one steps to respect to the equality, freedom democracy and civilization, mack us happy but they are build library and then attack on university and damages to building and attack on student....what is going on here

In this, I see a quiet evolution churning from within Iran. Despite what the mullahs do, progressive motion is taking place.
