kooneht sookht?

by Anonoyou (not verified) on

i take it you are one of the geniuses behind bebin.tv aren't ya? see the truth hurts. why don't you guys try to make a video of something with substance instead of a parody of uselessness.

we have every right to post whatever comments we want on this site, as far as i can see, and since i think bebin.tv is a joke, i will say so. you obviously stated your opinion in a mature and intelligent way.

now, go work on something that matters, possibly a piece on Iran and the current issues that faces us and those there rather than a joke of a piece like who has the latest gucci bag? thanks!

So stop watching!!!

by sickofu (not verified) on

I am really getting sick of all of you all out there, who have nothing better to do than click on the bebin.tv segments on this site, just to aggrevate us by leaving derogatory comments...here is a clue: That thing near your hand its called a mouse : DO NOT click it !! its a very easy way to avoid watching videos you think are soooo beneath you, or badly prepared or whatever...if you think you can do better, post your own videos, just stop the griping... stop all the pathetic critisizing!!!It's sickening..no one put a gun to your head to watch. Get a life!

Bebin TV

by Mehdi (not verified) on

I think their work is good. They are the young generation & their programme is aimed at the peers. Dont expect them to fullfil your expectations of classical persian heritage and/or they way you remember things, probably years ago, when you were their age back in Iran.
These guys, and many like them, are second generation Iranians. They were either born in the US or were raised here from an early age.
Its ok if they speak hybrid lingo. It reflects their hyphonated culture, i.e. Iranian-American, and you better accept & respect that. This is pretty much the future of new generations of Iranians abroad. They get more and more assimilated into the culture of where they grow up.

I say well done guys & keep doing it.
Those of you who don't like it, just dont watch it. Nobody forces you to. But please dont be so mindless & trigger happy to jump the gun and criticise cos you simply do not comprehend them.
Sometimes I personally think we deserve all the shit that we get. The silly and bombastic comments here just show our very basic cultural flaw & lack of empathy & unity with our fellow citizens.
Really Sometimes its shamefull to see this kind of behaviour .

Chelo Kabab with Raw Egg

by Kaveh Mofid (not verified) on

I think that segment was actually really cool... it showed how many people didn't actually know about it... kind of like the history segments they've done...

at the end of the day.... their programming is different then what i've seen on satellite....and i love the fact they use Iranians that have trouble with the language... I'm sure there are a lot of people out there that can relate to it....for better or worse...

Just listen to the end of

by Anony mouse (not verified) on

Just listen to the end of the segment, the guy, with a horrible accent says, "inam shod barnameh?" the answer is clear and concise, NO, nashod barnameh, horrible acting, horrible accents, (sometimes I wonder if they think it’s cute to talk like that?!?!?!) I mean was it so hard to find someone that speaks fluent Farsi in LA????? And plus are we trying to teach the Iranians in the US about Halloween? Or Iranians in Iran? Either way it looks stupid, sorry, you got all thumbs down from me!

Some of their segments are

Some of their segments are alright, however, there are other clips that show a lot of ignorance, and close mindedness towards the Iranian culture, such as the "use egg yolk in chelo kebab" piece.

You guys Have no clue....

by Kaveh Mofid (not verified) on

I'm amazed at the amount of cherto pert people post without actually putting any effort into finding out who they are criticizing...

Obviously the people that criticized this clip have never seen any of their other stuff....

I'm not sure why bebin choses to only show these clips on Iranian.com, however their site has many amazingly done videos...

For those of you who are to koongoshad to actually investigate before you judge...check out some of this work... if you still want to criticize these young kids then go right ahead....
oh and hajiagha...for someone whos cartoons are crap...maybe you should really contact them..they might be able to help you out...

    um...

    by ruserious? (not verified) on

So, bebin.tv is constantly amazing me...with their witty video's of halloween yani chi, and southern cali style. isn't it wonderful to see how this generation of Iranian Americans are using their intelligence in such a meaningful and educational way? They never cease to amaze me! How about for your next video you do a piece on the importance of bmw's and mercedes within the orange county diaspora? or even better how about a piece entitled "your plastic surgeon and you", which can go into detail about the importance on picking out a plastic surgeon.

these are all valid ideas and of great importance, and only solidifies the values that we have in southern california as "Persians".

it's wonderful that with an outlet like bebintv, which can reach millions of people throughout the world that they focus on these meaningful and important issues!

    Hajagha has no class...

    by Aquaman (not verified) on

The clip is not a such big deal guys...
    I'm 40 year old Iranian/ American man.
I came to states when I was 18! Halloween is fun & different generations do different things with it... No big deal...
These kids thought they made a fun clip (and perhaps so for the young Iranian American genration to judge...) with reports in poor Persian vocabulary, because they are probably born & raised in the U.S... So what? Can we help & motivate them to learn & practice better in Persian language? Maybe we can try! Hajagha, Yes you dude, I don't like your cartoons & writings... You are needlessly rude... You are not funny at all... You should behave like a true Iranian with some humanity & politeness... That's a true Persian culture, language & class... Something you don't have, so I can not call you an Iranian yet... Hopefully you will change your ways towards goodness & learn... And please, while you're there, Try to improve your English as well, It's retarded dude...

Lovely choice of vocabulary! Is that all you guys managed to absorb from all your years of so called education? I guess you either have a lot of growing up to do or missed a lot of class when they were passing out tolerance & respect for others!

    Halloween on Bebin.tv

by Chee Migee? (not verified) on

I had no idea Iranian.com readers & supporters had such a broad imagination and sense of humour!!! What happened to all that sense of pride of being Iranian and supporting each other?
I am disgusted by what I've been reading past few weeks. It just goes to show that we have no idea how to use freedom of speech & expression. With the freedom the new Iranian.com site has offered; one thing has been proven that the majority do not have any respect for other readers.
What have we learned from the manhy years of exposure to civilisation? Nothing much but bad-mouthing & belittling others who are trying to do something different.
I guess Iranians really do deserve what the satellite tv's have been throwing at them these past years, rug shows, cosmetic surgeons giving advice on air, hosts opening phone lines on live shows, cheap music videos, etc...
It makes me cringe & now I realise why the new generation wants to keep away from Iranians like you!

    Darius jan...

    by Nader on

Darius jan, unfortunately some of us were not fortunate or privileged enough to have a taste of Halloween the way you did. However, the real Halloween in Iran was having 80+ students crammed in a tiny classroom in public schools of Tehran.Too bad you did not get to experience that::))

    Har Roozetan Holloween bad!

Holloween is not like it used to be ...

    by Darius Kadivar on

I rememeber the good ol' day when in my highschool in Shiraz International Community School (SICS), we used to celebrate Holloween and the goal was to be disguised not necessarily like Dracula or Frankenstein but like Sinbad the Sailor, Batman and Robin, the Three Muskateers or Robin Hood. It was fun and all generations could join in.

But now with the SCREAM GENERATION and all the Awful Freddy Movie sequals Holloween especially in the US has become sickening.

No Wonder Such Massacres like in Virginia take place MOST OF THE TIME IN THE US ...
