by IRAN PARAST on Mon Apr 27, 2009 04:19 AM PDTI would like to add my 2 cents to this: I believe that whatever different religions say about the Will Of God, it can only be accepted through faith, only.
For example, The Christian Faith may say something about the Will Of God; similarly, The Muslim Faith may say something else which could be different. These two (2) interpretations of the Will Of God may not necessarily be the same.
The followers of each Religion, whether that is Christianity, Islam, The Bahai Faith, or Judaism, accept the Will Of God By Faith, Only. There is no way that it could actually be proven with 100% certitude whether something is the Will Of God, or Not!
These are only the Monotheistic Religions that we are talking about! We haven't even brought into discussion Religions such as Hinduism, or Buddhism, with a totally different concept of God from the Monotheistic Religions!
I do want to associate myself with the comment below that those who say that they know the most, acually know the least!
Merci - Thought Provoking :) ! !

by Religious Scholar (not verified) on Mon Apr 27, 2009 03:08 AM PDTWe will never truly know what ALL of God's Will And Intentions are. The Holy Books, as you referenced, only give us a glimpse of what that may be. But that's all it is: ONLY A GLIMPSE!!
I personally believe that this LIFE is only a JOURNEY. Whether there is any intentions behind it or not, it is anybody's GUESS!
This poem reminds me very much of some of the Rubaiyat that I read from Omar Khayyam many years ago. He struggled very much with the same issues.
One last thing: I agree with the statement below, that The People who say that they know it all, they actually know very little - Believe it or not, that is the ONLY TRUTH!! - Thank you

It's not that different from splitting up an atom. The more we go inside the structure of an atom, and the more particles we find, the more we realize how little we actually know!! - It's called the Paradox of Nature .....
Thanks :)
