For god sake, lets move forward with this Persian Gulf naming convention already!

I say let whoever wants to call it something else to go ahead and do so. what do we have to lose? There are many instances that different countries call different land and water territories differently. The U.N has called it Persian Gulf and that’s all that is matters. Why we do have to turn this, as we do with everything else, into another excuse to bash and belittle and insult our Arab brothers and neighbors? Isn’t it enough that we claim to own the entire Middle East “land” cause Koroush occupied the entire region 2500 years ago, now, we want to claim that the Persian Gulf (Open international water), belongs to us too?

At what point are we going to stop being so bigot and so intolerant and so imperialistic? When?

 

HEY IRANIANS, "OVER-NATIONALISM" IS DESTRUCTIVE, ITS NOTHING TO BE PROUD OF. IRAN HAS SUFFERED AND IS STILL SUFFERING BECAUSE OF THIS NOTION THAT WE ARE BETTER THAN OTHERS! WAKE UP!
