How Israel might strike at Iran

For all the myriad challenges facing Israel over the past decade it is the potential threat from a nuclear-armed Iran that has preoccupied the country's military planners.

It is this that in large part has guided the development of the Israeli Air Force (IAF) over recent years.

The IAF has purchased 125 advanced F-15I and F-16I warplanes, equipped with Israeli avionics and additional fuel tanks - tailor-made for long-range strike missions.

In addition, Israel has bought specialised bunker-busting munitions; developed large, long-endurance, unmanned aircraft; and much of its training has focused on long-range missions.

Israel has a track-record of pre-emptive strikes against nuclear targets in the region.

This post has nothing to do with Israel or its threats. It is only about that definition of insanity. I argued with you before on this. Einstein who may have said this was not an expert on insanity.

In addition the whole idea of quoting from others is weak. Reason must stand on its own not because a person of stature mentioned it. Way too many people use this "big guy" said it so it must be true logic. You might as well argue the point on merit.

What was the definition of insanity again?

... to know something is foolish but do it anyway! Israel is yet to meet a worthy adversary, recent defeat in Lebanon notwithstanding! Iran army is not their flimsy, dumb Arab armies they have fought in the past! I'd listen to Gen. Dempsey and just keep barking from afar  instead of going for a bite! Netanyahu political career will be over if he commits this folly, and that is the least he is gonna lose! Even his ex Mossad chief told him back off! .....Here is a puzzle everyone: what is the difference between Bibi and a light bulb? :-)
