Are they forced to become Muslims too ? like rest of Iranians
by IranFirst on Tue Apr 19, 2011 08:45 PM PDTAre these poor children forced to accept barbaric Islam, before they are considered Iranians by IRI?
IRI requires that non-Iranian spouses of Iranians convert to Islam, or their marriage is not accepted by IRI
Shifteh jan, this is even worse
by mahmoudg on Tue Apr 19, 2011 02:59 PM PDTHalf Iranians who are very contempt in the lands they live in to become iranians for what?????? What exactly is the benefit from this. what is to be proud of iran these days, other than a bunch of towel heads, eating each other up and completely destroying a perfectly well functioning country. At least 32 years ago. I say nothing to be proud of Iran and these hyphenated Iranians should consider their country of birth or their non-Iranian parents as their country.
Children of Iranian women married to non-Iranians
by Shifteh Ansari on Tue Apr 19, 2011 01:54 PM PDTThis is a very important development mahmoudg. This is not about people wanting to become residents of Iran. It is about a group of children who are half Iranian, but are not considered Iranians. Or women who are married and have children, but neither the marriage, nor the children are recognized by the Iranian government.
Who in their right mind
by mahmoudg on Tue Apr 19, 2011 01:28 PM PDTwould want to become a permanent resident of Iran. Millions of Iranians are either yearning to leave, have left, or are in the process of doing so, or are fighting the regime to change it. Why would anyone want to give up citizenship in Europe or the US to become an Iranian. Once the country is free of the clutches of Islamic fascism, then there might be a point for doing so.
