And I don't say the Pahlavis have a family history of committing suicide, out of grudge. It's a politically correct statement.

Never increase, beyond what is necessary, the number of entities required to explain anything.

told me, years after the revolution, that he was told by Hoveyda to deliver a letter given to him by His majesty.  The instructions had come from "arbab" as he used to call the shah, and is to be delivered to Dariush Homayoun for publication in the next days paper.  Dad personally delivered the letter to Mr. Homayoun, not knowing until the next day what was the content of that letter, and the rest of course is history.
