Iran says it will make up for the cutoff of U.S. aid to Lebanon

Reporting from Washington and Beirut —

Iran, reacting to the cutoff of U.S. aid to the Lebanese military, told Lebanese officials Tuesday that it would make up the potential $100-million loss.

The promise came one day after disclosures that Rep. Howard L. Berman (D-Valley Village), chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, and Rep. Nita M. Lowey (D-N.Y.), chairwoman of the Appropriations subcommittee on foreign operations, decided to freeze the money because of concerns that the U.S. aid might be buying arms that could be turned against Israel.

Why can't you answer this simple question "sargord": why shoud IRANIANS be forced (by the un-elected IRI thugs) to pay for LAF when Iran is such a very poor country and on the alert list of the "failed States" ?

Since when IRGC cock roaches (who are hurt daily by sanctions) are ordinary people ? $100 million here, $400 million there (to hezbolah), + ...,much more for your other Arab terrorist brothers while you guys kill and jail Iranian workers who want to go on strike for un-paid wages and few more dollars.

so concerned about "people's money" cry out loud against sanctions hurting ordinary people with bigger price tags or equally confront the US law makers who approve billions after billions for the Zionists while the unemployment here runs at 9.5%, 60 million do not have health care, millions lost and are losing their homes and ......!  But that is if you "really" care but we know the answer to this question don't we?

Iran's military aid will ultimately help its strategy to safeguard Iran and Iranians by raining down the Zionists missiles, shells and rockets the second they attack Iran.

That is a lot of bang for the Iran;s buck!
