"...she was honoring the Taliban when she paid tribute to "all of those who died in war" in the previous week, and not just to American soldiers. "Did she mean to suggest that our mourning extend to members of the Taliban?"

Lets organize an impeachment for her

Lets encourage free press and an environment for free and frank discussion.

Just as other journalist who dared speaking their own personal views regarding ME and Israel, only a day later to be fired.

I guess

I guess this guy just doesn't like Christiane Amanpour!  I would need to watch the program for myself to draw any conclusions.

I should think someone like Amanpour sees it her professional challenge to increase the Americans' knowledge and attention on international issues, because that's where she sees her mission as a journalist, and that's where she sees the biggest peril threatening the US and by the sheer size and significance of the US, the world.

Would Mr. Shale rather see her ask her US domestic policy experts a few questions about world affairs?  Wouldn't that further agitate Mr. Shale?  What if the experts cannot answer the questions?  Wouldn't it be frightening to show everyone what happens when the mainstream media is controlled by those who don't know or care what happens in the rest of the world?

Thanks for sharing Mr. Siletz.
