  Iranian national wrestling team has claimed the title of the 2010 Asian Junior Wrestling Championship held in Bangkok, Thailand.

Greco-Roman national wrestling team has claimed the title of the 2010
Asian Junior Wrestling Championship held in Bangkok, Thailand.

Iranian wrestlers came in first with five gold, one silver and three bronze medals, Mehr News Agency reported Friday.

The Iranian squad had the best overall score with 85 points, successfully defending its title.

Behrouz Maleki (46 kg), Ramin Garmsiri (54 kg), Morteza Anousheh (63
kg), Mohammad Rasouli (69 kg) and Babak Dejbani (100 kg) won gold
medals for Iran and Farshad Rostamikia (85 kg) brought home a silver
medal.

The bronze medals for the Iranian team were awarded to Reza
Khodadadi (42 kg), Ramin Taheri (50 kg) and Amir Hossein Molaei (76 kg).

The free-style competitions of the 2010 Youth Asian Freestyle
Wrestling Championship are scheduled to be held on Aug. 1, 2010 in
Bangkok.
