He was previously sentenced to death by the Revolutionary Court.

According to HRANA reporters, Hamed Rouhinejad is currently detained in ward 7 of Evin prison.  Since Rouhinejad has the disease MS, he is not able to withstand prison pressures and requires medical treatment outside the prison. The coroner’s office previously confirmed Hamed Rouhinejad’s weakening condition and the fact that he will not be able to withstand prison conditions.
