The protested called Peres a murderer and a child killer, and carried signs condemning Israel's illegal activities against the Palestinian people.
Israeli Ynet News reported that one of the protesters told its reporters that his country's meeting with Peres, 'the child murderer', is a disgrace, and added that Peres should be expelled for his crimes and the crimes 'of the oppressive Israeli government'.
The Ynet added that some signs described Israel as a fascist state, while other signs called for the "Death of the Zionist-fascist Israel'.
Other protesters carried signs praising Hezbollah leader, Hasan Nasrallah, and Iran's spiritual leader, Ali Khamenei.
Earlier on Monday, Peres was welcomes by his Argentinean counterpart, Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner, who described the Iranian president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, as a holocaust denier.
Referring to the peace process between Israel and the Palestinians, Kirchner, stated that she recognizes the Palestinian right to have a nation, and also recognizes Israel's right to live safely.
She added that her country will do its best to help achieve the two-state solution.
